The new rankings are in and what do you know, we have gotten it pretty close this time around. Not really that hard with all the one and two loss teams we have at this point of the season. This week no one really got hammered by the voters, but we did tap on New Mexico State a little bit. Sitting at 3-1, with the one loss to #3 Texas A&M, the Aggies are looking to have their best season since Season 11. They have that big win top 25 teams need to have when they knocked off Georgia Tech in week 2, at the time Tech was ranked. Having already beaten Boise State earlier this season and handing Fresno State their first loss last week, the Aggies are in total control of the WAC Conference. If Coach jhowle45 can pull this off and win the WAC, it would be the first conference championship for New Mexico State since Season 4. In my opinion this was the best Top 25 we voted all season, but lets not forget that just because Boise State has gone haywire this season that they are still playing football in the WAC and there are teams capable of making it into the polls. It may take a while, but jhowle45 keep winning and eventually we'll say damn New Mexico State is doing pretty good this season, maybe I'll vote for them.
