Stanford Cardinal @ USC Trojans

Stanford Cardinal: The Stanford Cardinal are led by QB Andrew Luck. Luck is one of the most talented quarterbacks on this version of NCAA Football and will need to bring his "A" game in this one. So far in a 31-13 win over PAC-10 member UCLA, Luck had 12 completions on 20 attempts for 164 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. If Stanford is going to win, they are going to need help from their star Quarterback. If Luck can limit his turnovers, and help win the Time of Possession battle against the Trojans along with the run game, Stanford should be able to hang around in this one. Stanford was one and done in the Cup, losing to #13 Clemson.
USC Trojans: Walker is coming off 3 straight wins to open the Season after losing in last years NDL Championship Game to the LSU Tigers. USC was able to sneak past Marshall in the opening week of the season 31-30. Southern Cal comes into the game as the 9th highest scoring offense, and should be able to keep it up against the Cardinal. USC's 39.0 ppg is 3rd in the PAC10 behind Arizona (44.5ppg, 2nd) and California (41.7ppg, 5th). QB Matt Barkley already has impressive numbers through only 3 regular season games. In those 3 games, Barkley is 58 of 79 for 923 yards, 10 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. If Barkley can limit his mistakes, USC should be able to move the ball up the field against the lesser talented Cardinal squad. If this USC team has a weakness, its going to be forcing the ball into small holes in the defense.
Prediction: It is tough to get an early read on Stanford under coach BigRy, but USC and coach Walker017 has proven that he has the talent and the skills to make it all the way to the NDL Championship Game, winning it one of the two times he has gone that far. Walker has a NDL Record 3 Cup Championships to his name (tied with cnasty). Its going to be hard for Stanford to go into the Coliseum and come away with the win against the #2 Trojans. The #9 Points for Offense will go against the #9 Points Against Defense in this one, but USC should put up close to the 39 per game that they average. Look for USC to come away with the victory 35-24.
