A bit of background on this mysterious member of the NDL. He is an original member of the NDL, having played in all 18 season. While other coaches have come and gone he has remained; speaking rarely, but wisely on the boards.
In the 18 previous seasons, there has been another constant: Toro will lose. He has 37 more lifetime losses than the next closest NDL owner. How did this happen? 10 straight seasons of double digit losses.
There has been another constant as well: He has never made a bowl game. In fact, he is the only coach with 10 years experience to never have made a bowl game.
This will all change this season.
After 2 seasons at Toledo last game where he went 5-7 he moved on to Auburn.
I am hereby proclaiming this season to be the Season of Toro. Where he will finally earn himself his first ever bowl bid!

- Must start strong. With a heavy burden on the back end of the schedule, Toro must start strong in his schedule.
- The SEC is tough, but 4-4 is not out of the question. So going 2-2 in OOC play in a must.
