Tigers Maul Jayhawks in Early Blowout
Rookie Coach TilnaciousD gets Shredded in Debut
Kansas Fans poured out of David Booth Memorial Stadium in the early 2nd quarter in Week 2 as TilnaciousD's coaching debut came to a screeching halt. Kansas QB Jalon Daniels gifted five early interceptions to the Tigers, totaling seven on the day, digging a 33-0 hole for the Jayhawks in the second quarter.
QB Jason Daniels showed some promise outside of the SEVEN interceptions, throwing for 395 yards and rushing for 86, almost entirely off one run that resulted in a touchdown. The Jayhawks were able to get within 12 points before the end of the second quarter, but a late touchdown from the Tigers suffocated any hopeful fans who remained in the stands. After a second half that can only be described as garbage time, the Jayhawks finally fell to the Tigers 60-42.
