Re: Random Discussions
had a ham for Easter dinner with the family
Took the leftover bone/meat and made a broth yesterday and then we made a nice ham and bean soup today. Probably one of my better "easy" meals ever. Did it the Instapot, sauteed the veggies and then pressure cooked the soup fore 41 minutes and then slow cooked the rest for 3 hours. Haven't had ham and bean soup i 2 decades and this shit was the best!!! (not to pat myself on the back)
You want the recipe, hit me up and I'll send it to you

List of things in my life that involve 9 minutes of walking:
- Grocery store
- Kid's activities (zoo, park, sporting events)
- Yard work
That list is at least 1 item too long.

Anyone else watching this guy on Jeopardy fuck people up?
Owns top 7 all time single game scores
On pace to break Ken Jennings $ winnings in half the games
I've been watching for the last week, can count on one hand the number of times he buzzed in and got a question wrong. It's unreal

I watched his 3rd day I think. Thought he was a pompous ass. Starts off with the 1000 questions and works his way up. Dude has a memory like no other thoughWeasel wrote:Anyone else watching this guy on Jeopardy fuck people up?

Nobody hates greatness quite like George
Re: Random Discussions
If you can answer the questions correctly (which he obviously can more often than not), its a brilliant strategy to maximize winnings. Get a bit of a stack going then hop around the board looking for the Daily Double.GeorgesGoons wrote:

The Daily Doubles are usually closer to the bottom so if you control the board, you should be picking questions on the bottom.Weasel wrote:If you can answer the questions correctly (which he obviously can more often than not), its a brilliant strategy to maximize winnings. Not much of a Jeopardy watcher, but from what I gather, pretty much all of the all time greats like this guy follow a different approach where they work the bottom rows first.

Re: Random Discussions
Not knocking his strategy at all. It was just the pompous look on his face while doing it. He has an unbelievable memory to be able to answer these questions that fast.
