Something for the Gamblers out there

Post by wdoupis »

I just joined this pool, we gotta take what we can get. Posting for anyone interested

NFL DRAFT QUARANTINE POOL
Hope everyone is safe and healthy! The NFL Draft may be the closest thing we have to sports for another month. So I started a Draft pool from the Run Your Pool website and the link to join is below. There are 43 yes/no and multiple choice questions about the up coming draft. Anything from will New England draft a QB, First OL taken or what round will Tua be taken. The entry with the most questions correct wins the pot and each question is worth 1 point. Should be fun so share with family and friends who my be interested or bored. Do your homework or wing it your choice but there are plenty of mock drafts to review online. YOU MUST ANSWER ALL 43 QUESTIONS TO LOCK IN YOUR ENTRY. Can always go back and change any picks before the deadline. Multiple entries are allowed.
The Draft is Thursday April 23rd and deadline to join is the 23rd at 12;00 noon eastern time. That gives us 20 days to sign up and send in the $100 entry fee.
We will pay the top 5 spots
1st place 50%
2nd place 25%
3rd place 10%
4th place 8%
5th place 7%

I recently set up an online NFL Draft Pool at RunYourPool named 'NFL Draft Quarantine Pool'. If you are interested in joining the pool, please go to the following link and fill out the form:

Ha! I remember that. What's funny is I've taken 10% off every pool I've/we've ever run at the bar. It is a little different, to be fair but that's the rules. We won't have trouble filling the pools if you don't like it.

Or didn't. Goddamn Chinese.

That's to be expected at a place of business.

It's not to be expected when it's just a pool with your bros.

I agree. It's also a lot of money to be responsible for. I had a safety deposit box for years where absolutely nothing but pool cash was in there and I was on the signature card of another bartender.

Update: YA BOY IS TIED FOR 1ST PLACE WITH ONE GUY AND ONLY 4 THINGS LEFT OPEN.

Pool is 23k and 1st place gets 50%, 2nd 25%, 3rd 10%... It is impossible for me to fall below 3rd place so I'll come out with some cash

Pool all comes down to these 4:

What round will Jalen Hurts be picked- We both said round 2

Will Pats take a QB in rounds 1-4: I said yes, guy I am tied with said no

Ashton Davis pick 76.5: We both said earlier

Evan Weaver pick 127.5: I said earlier and he said later.

Basically comes down to the Pats taking a QB in next 3 rounds and Evan Weaver

Yeah, I went to sleep after the 13th pick and when Riggs went I thought I was toast as it cost me 3 Ls. I had Juedy as first WR, Jeudy under 12.5, and Riggs over 14.5. Turns out I nearly ran the table the rest of the way.

Good to know I am in the cash. Now time to google who Evan Weaver is and where the hell he is going. Feel pretty good about my other 3 picks

Don't want to jinx you, but I like your side of the picks here. (didn't like the A. Davis part, but you're the same on that one!) Good luck!

Was really hoping Pats took Hurts as that would have nailed two of my needs but I like this run on safeties. Hopefully get Ashton Davis picked earlier. I need someone to snag Jalen
