Realignment
Just a simple yes or no vote on whether we should entertain realignment this off season. If this passes then we can move forward.

Re: Realignment
After talking with Billy regarding this I think we allow teams that want to stay in their division they get to stay there before we realign. This should keep people in the AL (L)East that want to stay there the option to stay there before the realignment draft. So if you voted no due to that reason you should be able to switch to yes if you wantGeorgesGoons wrote:Just a simple yes or no vote on whether we should entertain realignment this off season. Definitely agree that you should have the option to stay put.

Re: Realignment
Like Shel said, the original post is black and white and then we muddy it up. Staying put wasn't an option last time, so why are we making it one now. And if we choose that format, we'll have half or more the league do that so then what's the point in the end?

Re: Realignment
Why force guys to move if they don't want to?
If they are happy where they are, let them stay.
If you have a few teams that want to move around then put them in an order and let them start picking where they want to go.
It won't hurt anything in the end.

Re: Realignment
There is no muddying it up. Wanted to clarify for the people that don't want to move from their current division. Hell if 30 people want to stay in their same division after we vote then it all stays the same. Who cares. Do you want to entertain realignment or not? Pretty black and white with no muddying.

Re: Realignment
Personally if over half the league decides they want to stay then realignment is a complete waste of time.

Re: Realignment
Tell that to the other half of the league that may want to move.wdoupis wrote:Personally if over half the league decides they want to stay then realignment is a complete waste of time.

Re: Realignment
We open it up every 10, but it's not a mandatory thing right? It's open to a vote every 10, and if the league votes to do it, then we do it, 100% right?wdoupis wrote:Personally if over half the league decides they want to stay then realignment is a complete waste of time.
So this poll is basically "are we doing it?" yay or nay?
If so, then there would be discussion about how? Or we'd just use last time's format?
Re: Realignment
I think it should just be last times format as its worked well twice in a row. Ask George Bush how things work out when you go in to something without a planSeeitsaveit13 wrote:We open it up every 10, but it's not a mandatory thing right? Correct. Billy and I discussed how the next poll will look and then we move forward

I don't get this point. If 20 of the 30 teams wants to stay put, let them, then the other 10 can move. What is the harm?
