Laptop Computer Purchase help

Post by xLiQx »

I know some of you guys know a thing or two about computers. I am looking at purchasing a laptop for a 13 year old, doesn't need to be crazy, looking around the $400-$800 range. 15 + inch screen, no touch screen, no tablet, preferably Windows if at all possible! Thank you!
Season 25 NCAA - New Mexico Lobos 5-7
Season 26 NCAA - Arizona Wildcats 11- 3 (Pac 12 Champions, Rose Bowl Champions)
Season 1 Madden - Seattle Seahawks 12-4 NFC Champoinship game (lost)
Season 27 NCAA - Texas Longhorns 9-4 (Alamo Bowl champs vs USC)

Windows is definitely possible in that price range.
Lenovo and Asus are 2 of my favs. Not as much bloatware as Samsung, Toshiba or HP. Dell puts a good amount on too but also makes a nice laptop.
Even though you can't install programs on one, Chromebooks are nice if you don't mind apps from the Google play store and just need a portal to the internet.
