For everyone shopping on Amazon's Prime Day: "savings" from sales aren't savings if you weren't already planning on buying the item

And it is sold and shipped by Best Buy so you can do a store pickup too.
But the tv is normally $399 and it is a 2018 model (TF-50A810U19). The lowest place I can find it besides Amazon is Ebay for $359 with free shipping from Arizona. So yeah, no deal there.

He did cite his sources and then removed it.

Odd.

if u want real TV deals, buy a TV in February when the new models are coming out and theyre trying to get rid of last yrs shit. Reading reviews on this specific TV, half of them are "its great" and half are "it died in a yr". If youre buying a 4K tv for 4K, youre wasting your time like 3D TVs and Curved. The eye cant tell the diff between 1080 and 4k anyways.

Just trying to save u guys $$.

You obviously know nothing about TVs to make a statement like that.
Have you ever seen a 4K video on a 4K tv?
I had the same reaction I did when I saw 1080P HD for the first time. It is absolutely stunning.

https://www.cnet.com/news/tv-resolution ... -all-mean/

http://cdh.ucla.edu/news/are-4k-tvs-worth-buying/

This information applies to 4k TVs even more. The sizes of our homes and viewing distances are staying the same and people are still purchasing TVs around 50 inches. To be able to see the benefits of a 4K TV, we would need sit closer and have at least an 80-100 inch TV, which most homes can’t support. (Refer to this chart courtesy of Carlton Bale for more detailed information on optimal viewing distance).

I don't give 2 shits what that chart says. I have a 55 inch tv, I sit about 10 feet away from it and I can tell you that I can clearly and easily see the difference between 1080p and 4K.

OLED is where its at.

Nothing has impressed me from a TV viewing experience that much since the days of HD first came out and the soap opera effect from a TV got me like whoaaaaaaa.

The 240hz that made it feel like you were there!

Honestly though, I brought up youtube on my 4K smart tv, I searched for 4K videos and it was stunning.
I felt the same way as when we went from SDTV to HDTV.

Have you ever watched a 4K signal on a 4K tv? Then watch that same thing in 1080p format?
I have done comparisons. The difference is clear.
Now, with that said, you have to have a 4K source.
My cable provider does not provide it, so I don't get the benefit out of that.
I do, however, get the benefit from downloading 4K movies.

And have you tried the PS4 on a 4K tv? I have and it looks fantastic also.
