2046 Season Thread-"Holy Cow!"

Welcome to the 2046 season thread!!!!!

Below is the information to get your games up to date.

There are 2 ways to get your games to the correct file.

Option A - (Updating from a Good File)
Just import the new file. Do a quick export to test it. If it doesn't work, go to Option B.
If you do not see all of the new images, view the "How to Get Images" section.

Option B - (Corrupted Original File or Fresh Install)
1.) Delete any old files. They will be located in user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 17/Saved_Games folder. They will have a .lg extension.
2.) Create a folder in the Saved_Games folder called NDL.lg
3.) Download the following folder: http://ndlootp.com/game/lgfile/ndl.tar.gz
4.) Extract the ndl.tar.gz file into the NDL.lg folder. (you may need a program such as WinZip/WinRaR to do this.)
5.) If you now have an NDL.tar file, you will need to extract that into the NDL.lg folder.
6.) Look in the NDL.lg folder, if there is a settings folder, continue to step 6. If not, create a folder called: settings
7.) Download the GM Account Access file: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/accountsdata_gms.dat
8.) Place the accountsdata_gms.dat file into the settings folder. (Be sure this is named properly)
9.) Open OOTP, select the NDL league. Try to export via FTP

"How to Get Images - (3 types available)

The links below have been updated to include the Detroit Gas Monkeys and Seattle Steelheads.

JERSEYS:
1.) Delete your current jerseys folder, located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 15/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/jerseys
2.) Download the updated jerseys folder: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/jerseys.zip
3.) Extract the file to the location of the jerseys folder that you just deleted.

BALL CAPS:
1.) Delete your current ballcaps folder, located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 15/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/ballcaps
2.) Download the updated ballcaps folder: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/ballcaps.zip
3.) Extract the file to the location of the ballcaps folder that you just deleted.

TEAM LOGOS:
1.) Delete your current team logos folder, located at user/documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP 15/Saved_Games folder/NDL.lg/news/html/images/team_logos.
2.) Download the updated team_logos folder: http://ndlootp.com/game/Other_Data/team_logos.zip
3.) Extract the file to the location of the team_logos folder that you just deleted. Ensure that the folder structure is setup as /news/html/images/team_logos.

The jerseys and caps seem to work, but the logos don't. I pulled it from 2043, because it doesn't appear to be in this year or last

Subject: MLB Player on 40 man roster of 2 teams

Good afternoon,

In our league we have a player that is currently on the 40 man roster of 2 different teams. He is a MLB player on one team but he is showing on the 40 man roster of another team taking up a roster spot.

You can see in the attached images Julio Garcia plays for Cookeville but he is on the Seattle 40 man.

I have tried removing him in a multitude of ways but no luck and it is blocking a well needed spot on the one team he actually doesn't play for.

Can you please advise how to fix this and ensure he is only on the actual team he plays for and not the 40 man roster of both?

Harry Caray would always say holy cow, and he was the broadcaster for the Cubs. Ferrel did a bunch of SNL skits making fun of it

Wow. My owner is a tool.

Basically, Congrats. Good season. Now I want you to win it all next year, increase your attendance by 10,000 and last but not least, budget didn't move.

My budget went to 104M, Had revenue of $115M.

And the fucker wants me to acquire a Tom Seaver winner and go from almost 47K fans to 50K fans a game. And long term reach the NDL Series. Let me get right on that with one of the smallest budgets.

My scout, who had a pending 3yr/12m dollar contract decided to LEAVE and WILL NOT resign.

Steve Moore opted out - bummed

Budget stays the same, goals reasonable. Happy with my performance last year.

The FA class is insane.
Catchers- 1 blue and 3 greens (includes 1 green that never signed last year)
Infielders- 9 green but most are old as dirt... at least most can still play defense somewhere
Outfielders- 1 blue 6 green... all of them seem to be able to play defense at least mediocrely
Starting Pitchers- 5 blue 19 green. Add 9 of the greens have blue overall

Before demand drop:
the 3 catchers are all under 30 and will sign (Hughes, Stewart, Thompson)
SS Fischer will sign b/c he's not that old and can play SS
OF is a bit harder to judge but I think b/c the league as a whole is so barren on OFers, especially ones who can field AND hit. at least 3-4 will sign before the drop
Probably only 3 or so SPs will sign before the drop. The volume of good SPs will keep demand down except for the very young ones.
