My Team Predictions 2015

UConn Football

2014 season 2-10 (1-7 in the AAC)

My thoughts -- Pasqualoni did a hit on the UConn program like very few could have ever done. The team was coming off building brand new state of the art facilities (considered the best at the time) and a BCS game when they lost Edsall and now they are the worst team in Division 1. The new coach, Diaco, who came over from ND after winning assistant coach of the year is a firey dude and seems like he has potential but his on field decisions are head scratchingly bad. The lack of a QB exaggerates how terrible they've been as they haven't been able to complete a forward pass in about 4 seasons. All i can do is hope we get improved QB play and the new coach has brought in some better guys to fit his style.

For this season:

Villanova -- FCS power, game is probably 50/50 -- Loss
Army -- Equally as shitty as we are, but i'm praying we can pull it off -- Win
@Mizzou -- road game against a big conference team, no shot -- Loss
Navy -- If they are the same type of Navy teams from the past, no shot -- Loss
@BYU -- No shot -- Loss
@UCF -- i always say i'm going make the trip up to see this game, then we're 0-5 and i don't care to drive 3 hours -- Loss
USF -- we gotta win some time -- Win
@Cincy -- no shot -- Loss
East Carolina -- We get one game we shouldn't, i'll pick this one -- Win
@Tulane -- one road win isn't too much to ask -- Win
Houston -- If they are still able to put up points, not sure how UConn keeps up -- Loss
@Temple -- a 50/50 to end the year, i'm an optimist -- Win

Final record -- 5-7 probably a bit optimistic considering i doubt i could name one guy on the UConn roster currently

1 loss to clemson if Deshaun Watson plays and isnt hurt

1 loss to GT. They are due. We barely beat them last year. Our defense will be over confident, they'll hang 35 on us while slowing our offense enough to stay ahead (gt offense will be on the field for >70% time of poss)

1 loss to either miami, fla, louisville or nc state (if Brisset stays healthy)

we have great wr's but a lot of our success the past 2 years was Jameis AND the wr's adjust at the LOS. From what ive seen in the past, we will struggle on offense against teams with decent secondaries and who stuff the run game. I think this year if you stop cook, you stop us.

9-3 is my prediction but if Golson can hold on the ball, feed the play makers and scramble when wr's are covered instead of forcing the ball....we could conceivably make a run if we get by the games mentioned above

Bama- depends on Jawja game. IMO better than everyone in the SEC west, LSU and The barn are good but Bama better.

Bama wins west. In the playoff
