Even mentions that it could be like OOTP. RBI baseball was a great game on NES.

We don't know much more about this title just yet. We haven't even learned if it will be a text-based simulation like Out of the Park Baseball, or a full-action game like MLB The Show. If it is the latter, it would represent the only competition for The Show in its genre.

That has always been one of the biggest problems. In coordination with lag since baseball is the most pinpoint related to lag and strong connection needed for accuracy on pitches and judging balls and strikes.

This sounds awesome btw. RBI baseball was damn right amazing when it came out with real names and shit.

I LOVE baseball, but since they started making baseball games with the camera view from the catchers angle, I have hated video game baseball. When MVP baseball came out I thought it was going to be awesome, but because people pitch to corners off the plate, and barely throw strikes I've hated the games. I tried the Show, I tried others, but never could get into it because of that. Aside from the fact that I don't play enough to get acclimated to it. I wonder what kind of angles RBI will have, if it is a remake of the original, or if they are going for the new style of game to compete with the Show

They better come with an amazing game as The Show is the best baseball game ever created sans the nostalgic RBI baseball things.

With that being said, The Show hasnt changed in about 3 or 4 years as I am not sure what else they can do to make it amazing besides revamping online leagues and such. It looked incredible on the PS3, cant imagine on the PS4

Hopefully they learned from the flop of NBA2K online leagues for online ability

I tried man, I really did. Got the Show when Maur was on the cover? 11 maybe? I couldn't stand it. Played a few games with guys that were die hards and tried to learn how to hit. Didn't matter what I threw at guys it was singles for days and I couldn't get any outs. then when it came to hitting I struck out probably 90% of the time. I tried to make it work, practiced offline, but never could get into it.

The Show 13 had 5-8 different Camera views you could choose from, ANd the severs wern't that bad AJ. No different then any other game at times.

Yep. It's easy to hit corners, and if you want, you can work the corners and still never ever have to worry about walking more than maybe 1 batter a game.

There's no give and take.

In Road to the Show mode, the absolute worst feeling in the world is taking the 1st 2 pitches for strikes, then swinging at an obvious ball on the 3rd pitch. And I do it once per game.


Either that or running the count full, then swinging and missing on ball 4, and missing out on one of those rare base on balls.
