Guys here have gotten them at best buy as of late.

The key is to time getting the alerts from Amazon or best buy when they are back in Stock and grab one.

Best BUy tomorrow is running a huge sale. The BB here said they will have 50 PS4's and 50 XB1's for sure. And it goes with some other sale they have. I would call your local BB to see if the same holds true, I am going to my local BB @ 6am to camp out in hopes I can be 1 of the 1st 50 for the PS4, And then hoping to atleast get 2.


They are also offering a bundle deal, Which is as follows

Price $800

PS4
2 years extend warranty after Sony 1 year runs out. Anything goes wrong they replace for free.
2 year PS Plus
Any 2 games of your choice
1 Extra controller

Pretty much a cant miss deal, All things either you are gonna get or need, Warranty is the only question mark for me, AS I think whatt I am gonna do to mine might void the warranty. BUt i have already picked up my 1.5 TB HDD to install for when(Hoping/Praying tomm) I get mine.

Wal- Mart guy was very helpful and said they get 1-2 trucks a day, My local isnt due any tonight or at all tomm, BUt said they have 100 ordered, Just crap shoot as when they receive them. Said they have got 5 in past week but gone as soon as they hit shelf.

Target - Has been hit and miss but trucks arrive every Sunday with a some.

Toy R Us - Has had 10 since launch

K-Mart - Got 3 at launch none since

Went to local like Gamestop type store, Guy had 1 wanted $500 but it was already opened and used and he looked sketchy at best so I passed, even though the price was good.

The Best Buy Gamers Club jacks the price up really high. Plus, way too much stuff in that bundle for most people to even consider it after the $400 for the PS4.

Many places online are reporting that Best Buy will be the place tomorrow. Not sure how early people will need to be in line, likely depends on the store.

Also, their ad states 1 PS4 per customer.

But I will be headed out to BB around 1 or 2 am, to see if there are people already there or not and judge what to do, I also was told today that the week after xmas, almost every store will have more then enough to go around, So im really not gonna kill myself for this, But will sit/stand for 2-3 hrs for the shot.

The -7 temp is gonna be a bit much for any longer.

I have PS plus through December 2015 and have never paid more than $30 for a year. I don't need an extra controller.

Their $800 bundle would come out to, what? :

$400 PS4
"$120" for 2 games
$60 controller
2 years ps plus (they sell for $100, can be had for $60 if you buy at the right time)
Warranty $90
Gamer plus $120

So, there's some savings there as it would all add up to $890 and you're getting it for $800 instead. But, you can save $40 on the PS plus subscription easy and about $10 per game since many places are selling them for around $50 each, so the bundle savings is then $30.

I just have my doubts as to the value of the Gamer Plus subscription. $120 for 20% off games, essentially getting a new game for $48, which is the sale price about a month after a game comes out, and deals on trades and used games, which I've never seen a good selection at my Best Buy.

The details are pretty clear:

1) Membership is $120 for 2 years
2) GAMER magazine ends in May (so no more coupons)
3) 20% off new game purchases
4) 10% extra on trade-ins (Same as Gamestop, but only $15 a year to be a member there, and you get a magazine subscription)
5) 10% off used games (again, same as Gamestop)
6) Double RZ points on game purchases (still part of the free gamers club)
7) B2G1 used game coupon provided after signup (again, same as Gamestop)
8) Coupon for a 50% discount on a strategy guide (Awesome!!!...)

So it's basically the 20% off new games. For a $60 game, that's $12, meaning you have to buy 10 new, $60 games at Best Buy over the next two years. With gamesharing, that ain't happening. Hell, Battlefield, Killzone, and AC4 are $49 on Amazon right now, and I don't need an expensive membership for that price.

Even if you definitely wanted 2 games, an extra controller, and the warranty, you're still only looking at $700. Save the extra hundred at that point (assuming you did get the $30 PS plus year around black friday)...

And please explaain where you are getting Plus for $30, I have never seen it less then $49.99 for the year. And it is curently $44.95 at BB

I know Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart (had it for Cyber Monday), and Gamestop were selling it for that price.

And yea after looking this all over, Really I am not even interested in the gamers club, So saving the extra $100 would end up being the money I spent on the 1.5 TB HDD, BUt then again the big question is once I add this HDD does the warranty get voided anyway ? Which means you could really save $200. And factor in the $100 i have in BB coupons already.

But yes the need for extra controller or 2 is needed since I have 2 teenage boys.

My slim was a 150 or 160 GB, something like that. They were only giving $60 for it. Luckily I got it the Sunday before the PS4 released and they were offering 90% extra.

NO way anyone is paying $200 for a used PS3 on ebay.


I had a offer yesterday of $175 for mine plus 4 games, Told him if I got PS4 today it was his, And now no answer.
