I know but that is the wrong attitude to take.. and I hate that people are taking it.. And if it was up to me.. I would be deactivating people as a result of it..ChampDizzle wrote:why bother hardly anyone votes or plays their games6ftdeep wrote:as the title says?

It is a long weekend for some so they may have gone out of town. Be patient. Games will get played.

This does piss me off. I have guys who won't answer me for weeks in the scheduling thread but will post multiple times a day in ootp.

Can't say I disagree on that ticking you off, but the correct course of action would be the one we're choosing, shut down NCAA and let OOTP become the big man on the NDL Campus.WJ5811 wrote:xLiQx wrote:They should close down the OOTP thread hahaha, just kidding, but seriously, wheeeeere is everyonennnn?

the point of my post was not due to polls but more of the fact that my opponents wk 7/8 have yet to play ONE game this season.OracleHCR wrote:It is a long weekend for some so they may have gone out of town. Be patient. Games will get played.

And how did you expect us to get that point from your original post?
ChampDizzle wrote:why bother hardly anyone votes or plays their games6ftdeep wrote:as the title says?
That post, in no way, adds any value to our league.
Instead of being negative about it, ask yourself, what have I done to help out?
This is not towards you Champ, but in general, I am tired of the negativity.
Before being negative, I want anyone that is about to post, stop and think first, what have you done to try and help out the situation that you are about to post about?
If the answer is nothing, save all of us, please.
And to people that post things like a previous post about seeing guys post in OOTP, but them not responding to you about your NCAA games, have you reached out to anyone, a conference commissioner in particular, regarding this issue?
That is what they are here for.
Reach out to your or their conference commissioner and let them know what is going on.
They can help reach out to that person and talk to them.
If a Conference Commissioner is not responding, reach out to me. I will help in any way possible, especially if I know there are people being active in one thread, but they are not responding to NCAA games.
I will have a chat with them, especially after my post about how everyone that is here in Season 28, agreed to be here when buckeye explained that you NEED to be active this season.

Re: Polls Open Today?
My original question was regarding polls, yes... because sometimes they are open yet people can't vote and nole gets busy and forgets to post he opened them, and sometimes Nole forgets its Sunday, and also the post also reminds people that polls should open soon when they do open if not already..ChampDizzle wrote:the point of my post was not due to polls but more of the fact that my opponents wk 7/8 have yet to play ONE game this season.OracleHCR wrote:It is a long weekend for some so they may have gone out of town. As far as the rest of our remarks.. had nothing to do with polls but what Champ said.
Many probably are adopting the attitude he expressed, and its a shame. As far as be patient games will get played, we are already in block 4 (midpoint of season), and games are not getting played less than half of all games are being played at this time. How long are we to be patient for, for people not attempting to play games, till the last 2 to 3 weeks of the season when suddenly they come out of whatever rock they been hiding under and start posting when you wanna play.
Some have been up front on the things that may have held them back so far this season, but many have not.
It is ridiculous the amount of games that are unplayed right now, specially when if you were really not into playing out the last season you didn't have to, and could of chose to sit the season out as some did.

negative my ass more being sarcastic thus the I for one have ALWAYS tried to get ALL my games in since season 1 week 1. You, Niddler, as a conf commish shouldn't be scolding those who have stayed active but instead get on those who have not or at least let those that are playing know the reasoning. At least conf commish should let the conferences know the status of the inactivity of some.

Champ, you have no idea what I do to try to reach out to people that are inactive, so please, do not tell me what I should and should not be doing.
But for the record, to inform you of what I am doing about the inactivity...
Last season I sent over 40 PMs to everyone, regardless of the conference they were in, that had under half their games played at a certain point.
And these were individual PMs, not a blanket PM of hey, get your game in.
I plan on following up this season too.
And for the record, this season and last, I was not a conference commissioner.
I asked buckeye for some time off as I have a 6 month old at home, but I still do my part to keep the league moving forward.
