PLEASE READ: NDL Players Championship

Post by Downing11 »

So I log on this morning to get the Players Championship scores. I get a note the that patch is ready so I download it, only take a few minutes. I go into the CC and all the previous tournaments are there, but the data is wiped clean as part of the patch. What I will need is for you to post your scores here. If you know the individual rounds, that is great, if not the total is fine.

I know my score (-51), Weasel (-42) and Riccio (+3). I remember those because Riccio got frozen out of his round 4 and I knew what I needed to get in front of Weasel. I think we had 13 scores as of yesterday so that should be our total unless someone new played all 4 rounds yesterday. Once I get them all, I will post the updated standings.

Baker, I'll need you to ask wwfi08 for his scores.

2 quick questions:

1. Am I eilgible to jump in and play now? Or should I want for season 2?

2. These tournies, are they completed online in the country club, kinda like finding the dailies? And if so, do they have to be played with another person, or can you go alone like the dailies?

I'll hang up and listen.

1. You might as well start now. Theyre fun to play in regardless of where you finish (to me at least)

2. They are the 'dailies'. There are two "daily" rounds each week, each is open for two days (so over the course of 4 days, you need to get the two rounds in), which makes up one tournament. A second, four round tournament is found in the "weekly", as you probably know you have the entire week to get these four rounds in

I didnt mention it explicitly, but since they are the 'dailies' you dont need a spotter, you can play when you want

Wait, I'm confused.

So this NDL Players Championship is 2 separate dailies for 2 days, then another 2 for 2 days? Or is it just a weekly?

I played the Daily Downing opened I think Saturday night, but I have no clue what it was, I just went on and played it lol.

The NDL Players was a weekly which is 4 rounds which is opened from midnight Sunday to midnight the next Sunday. There is 1 weekly tournament each week. The other tournament we play each week is only 2 rounds and is made up of 2 daily tournaments. One of them is opened from midnight Sunday to midnight Tuesday. The other is midnight Tuesday to midnight Thursday. They will be the same course, just different settings. I add up those 2 dailies and that is one tournament. Then I used set up 1 day dailies on Thursday, Friday and Saturday just for fun that are NOT a part of the actual league.

No spotters needed unless you get frozen out of a round. The way I have the settings, you can only play a round once, so if you get frozen, you get locked out of the tournament completely.

I am pretty sure I was:
-4, -6, -6, -6 for a -22

This was the TPC Saw grass tourney right?

And I am hoping this patch fixes where I cannot see the ball lie, the arrow where I am aiming and the wind (pretty much all of my HUD goes away about every 3-5 shots).

i wasn't +3 for tourney.... just the 4th round.

i forget what i was for the tourney... i think i went -2, +1, -5, +3 if i remember correctly. but i'll withdraw from the tourney due to not knowing my scorecard. don't want to take cheap points over Corey.

Okay, not sure why I thought you were even going into round 4. I had in written down at home at one point to remind myself you wouldn't have 4 rounds online, but I lost it. I'll go with those scores, that's fine.

i could have been... i'm going off the top of my head. i know i had 2 rounds over and 2 rounds under.

i'd rather not enter my score or go with +3 tho... Corey and I have some heavy stakes on the line.

Okay, fair enough. I'll give you +3 so you earn some points for playing the tournament.

Don't think so. I had to update it right when I started the game.

Alright.

Then my complete guess is:

-6, -9, -9, -7

Somewhat confident but not positive.
