Monterey CA
Here for a week. Unfortunately I'll be tied up everyday from 9-5, including Saturday & Sunday, but didn't know if anyone had any must see or do's for this area. Staying down by the Fisherman's Wharf.

Re: Monterey CA
everything youll want to do is in Cannery Row . bunch of bars and restaurants down there. everytime i go there i spend a couple of nights at the Cannery Row brewery. huge selection of beers and good food.
the other place i like is 1833. http://www.restaurant1833.com. Good beers and even better food .
finally, go to spyglass golf course and have a drink and app on their outside patio. amazing view!

Hit up Cannery Row last night. Very impressive area. Tons of restaurants. Started out hitting up Crystal Fish for sushi but it was standing room only, moved on to the CRBC but again...it was like it was a weekend night or something
Finally settled on Bullwackers and watched the rest of the NCAA games. Definitely hitting that area up again though, pretty short walk from the hotel.
Thanks for the tips.

All good spots. I went there for a wedding at Pebble. It was amazing. If you are looking to splurge on a good meal and good booze, 1833 is the place. Youll probably drop 50-100 depending on how long you decide to stay, but the food is top notch and the waitresses we had were fantasticly amazing. Its probablt not far from your hotel.Wasted Memory wrote:Hit up Cannery Row last night. Very impressive area. Tons of restaurants. I'm at the Marriott on Calle President. The Old Fishermans Wharf is just a minute or two walk away. Walking to Cannery Row takes maybe 15 minutes.
Found a little brew pub last night called Peter B's. The beer was phenomenal. Food could use some work, but after a couple beers it wasn't bad
