I found this article interesting. Recruiting is getting looked at, what about online play?

I went and looked up their recent recruiting history on ESPN. Went back to 2006, haven't had a class in the top 25 in at least the last 8 years, they were 32nd this year. So, sounds about right on what EA would consider doing to "improve" something. I love how they make it sound like the FL guys they are signing they are "stealing away". Negative, Ghost Rider. Harly any of them had offers from Miami, FSU, and/or UF. Of the guys I looked from FL over the last 2 years that they signed, 4 had at least one offer from one of the big in-state schools. The rest had offers to places like FAU, FIU, USF and other programs on that level in other parts of the country. Basically, they are "stealing" from the bottom feeders of not just Florida, but the rest of the country.

So, all you will need now is a pulse to get cleared by admissions?

Yeah but they recruit people who go on to become stars, First round draft picks that were passed on by the bigger schools. Tavon Austin, Geno Smith this year. Pat White, Adam pacman Jones, Chirs henry and a slew of other positions that don't get much attention. Maybe EA is going to look at how they evaluate players.
I might be a little biased though, I went to WVU. lol. Lets's Gooooo Mountaineers!

i'd be a star if i played WR and could be on the field for 45 of 60 minutes because of my Swiss cheese defenseMrChampagne3 wrote:Yeah but they recruit people who go on to become stars, First round draft picks that were passed on by the bigger schools.
