I'm pretty sure how they do it is everybody pitching in a certain amount and keeping it in a Paypal account.

I can use mine, doesn't really matter.

Then, I will have to make sure, but I think you have to have someone's PSN name and password and everyone uses it to download the songs on there PS3. I'll have to verify for sure though.

Hopefully we can get 5 guys to do this, if not maybe 3 or 4. Then we can vote on songs, and majority wins, obviously.

I'm also hoping to download quite a few songs that have already come out since I'm just jumping on board here. But all of that can be voted on as well.

This is a post I've copied that Nole made on how there group works, pretty much like I was saying:

when you download the songs you're paying for 5 "licenses"..kinda like when a business buys 300 "liscenses" for microsoft office.

but with this, onnce you hit the 5th download (which wes just did about a month ago), you cant get anymore.

maybe now that everyone sees what we're saying and know this ISNT like napster or some other file "stealing" thing and that RB actually encourages it, there are at least 5-10 other ndl guys with the game now that may jump in a group with ya.

the way we work it is I do under my account and changed my Pw for the ps3 to something temporary for the other 4 guys to use.

they log in using my id and the temp pw and just goto the store and download the songs.

They all pay me via paypal and I keep an excel spreadsheet that shows what songs we have and how much money is left/used.

But, once we get our group, that can be discussed and voted on or something. Even if we start smaller with $20 or something, we can always add money if we want.

But $50 seems good. That's $200, and we will probably want to download a bunch of songs that have been coming out every week. We'll figure it all out.

Outlaw had alot, but not sure on the exact number. I have the AC/DC pack and the entire Dr. Feelgood album which he downloaded from me. I think we exchanged 3 or 4 weeks ago so I don't have anything new since then. I'll have to put a list together and post exactly what I have. I'll try and do that when my little one takes a nap later on this morning.

Okay, here goes. I have 233 total songs. 55 from RB1, 84 from RB2 and 94 downloaded. Of the 94 downloaded, I think 20 of them were free downloads using the RB2 code in the manual. Not great songs, but free so what the heck.

If you want, cover my first $20 and I'll let you logon as me and download anything that I originally downloaded myself. That will get you all of Dr. Feelgood (10 songs) and all of AC/DC (18 songs) at the very least. It will also get you the RB1 Key that you need to transfer RB1 songs from that disk into RB2.

Since you guys are downloading a lot of old stuff to build up the library though, $50 might be a perfect number.

Downing, how can I get the AC/DC and Motley Crue from you??
I havent downloaded anything by myself so I have nothing to trade, but will shoot you some cash if possible for those??

If you guys have any questions on how this works or anything else, feel free to let me know as I have been in 2 of these and it is EASILY the best way to get a ton of songs.

My girlfriend has the damn box wrapped and under the tree, so I won't be able to do anything until after Christmas, lol.

But, we got myself, Downing, Outlaw, and Ice in for at least $20.

So that's a start. If we can get a 5th, that would be nice just cause it would be one extra person to make it a bit cheaper, and an odd number so when we vote, we wouldn't be deadlocked sometimes.

This is coming together nicely, and we can have Cnasty as our mentor as he is a veteran with his RB2 group currently, lol.
