Jughead's new facelift
Anyone have one? I'm thinking about trading in my Toyota Tundra CrewMax for one. I really want 4x4 for the winter and to do a little off roading here in Colorado Springs. How is the fuel economy and the back seat space?

Re: Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Got one and love it. Back seat space I would rate as average. You can also lay the back seat down to give you a ton of room if you go camping or whatever. Fuel mileage for me is 16 to 23. It's nice. I got one with the hard top and bought a soft top off a jeep forum for cheap.
Keep in mind, I'm a jeep fan. So my opinion is a little favored towards the Wrangler. But I ve had zero problems with it too.

Re: Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
I get 15/18 MPG in my Tundra. The back space is freaking huge, the back seats recline. I just don't know if I am ready to get rid of it yet. I'll stop by the dealer and see what they have and if they can get me a GREAT deal then I'll pull the trigger. If not, I still love my truck so it's really no loss

Loved the test drive I took in one. I've kept my Liberty Renegade though. I have to say, gas mileage isn't close to what I was expecting (or was on the sticker). Different model... sounds like Buckeye has had some better luck on the top end with his mileage. I get around 16 city / 18.5 highway.

I will say George, I do miss my truck for hauling stuff out of the yard and just in general.

It's not the Wrangler Unlimited, but I have the Grand Cherokee Laredo and absolutely love it. Has room in the back if you need to haul anything, plenty of leg room for the back seat, and about average MPG on it for SUV's. It's an '05 but still running strong.

Well, I bought a 2013 yesterday. Went with the Commando Green Unlimited Sport. Putting on the Rubicon Rims and Tires next week when I get out of the field.
Matt, what forum did you buy the soft top from?

I like those a lot and green is my favorite color.
Now go get her nice and muddy like a Jeep deserves.

Yes I do. Waiting for spring to buy a bikini top for it, maybe some safari doors also. Not sure if I'd feel too comfortable with my 11 year old in it with no doors.buckeye76 wrote:Looks nice George. Did you use the forum?

Hey, matt has a 2012 4 door sahara, and has been in and out of the dealer for the past 3 months, had a cylinder d down, now has a rattle they can't get rid of, hopefully for you with the new year they have fixed the problems with this new generation engine, as of now matts is a total lemon.

Some pictures from our little off road fun:
UH-60 Blackhawk landed right in front of us.

Found a nice sized rock to climb up.
