Who is staying and who is going?
How are you feeling now that the points are out?
Are you staying with your team for next season or are you going?
I am not asking for scores. Just seeing who is in and who is out.
Let's hear it fellas. What is the scoop around the water cooler?
This is from the final polls:
#1 Virginia Tech - After winning the NC 2 seasons in a row, VTrunNgun is not going anywhere!
#2 Florida Gators - Not making it to the NC may put Daw1git over the edge and have him leaving the Gators.
#3 Michigan State Spartans - No reason to think Weasel is going anywhere.
#4 LSU - Rumor has it that Shel may be looking elsewhere. I think it is just a rumor.
#5 Florida State - Chusker isn't going anywhere, don't let him fool you.
#6 Oklahoma State - SuperJakeB is not going anywhere. He wants revenge on Virginia Tech next season after his schlacking in the NC!
#7 Oklahoma - Rumors were circulating that BlockM may leave if he can get his Wolverines, but then he realized that Oklahoma is a much better team!
#8 Oregon - 6ftDeep likes the way the Ducks play and has no reason to look elsewhere.
#9 Alabama - He has been here since season 5. Rumor has it that Alabama may be available. Is this just a rumor or will Biffy finally try something else?
#10 Wisconsin - DCane had another good year with the Badgers and will look for revenge next season against the Spartans in the Big10 title game.
#11 Texas - No reason to think that VVV is leaving Texas anytime soon.
#12 UCONN - driccio isn't going anywhere.
#13 TCU - BIGmike had fun playing at TCU, but rumor is that he will take his talents elsewhere!
#14 UCLA - MacNCheese is not leaving his dream job.
#15 San Diego State - Steamrollr22 had a very successful season at SDSU. I believe he stays and starts to build a dynasty here.
#16 Ohio State - buckeye has his dream job in Columbus, but he likes to move around and try new teams. Will he stay or will he go?
#17 Stanford - iroccafella - He will enter the draft to see what is available.
#18 San Jose State - IceMorbid had a successful season. I believe he stays for one more season.
#19 Arkansas State - BigStimpin had a successful season but was it enough to keep him planted in Akransas?
#20 Arizona - phreakk had fun but will move on.
#21 Notre Dame - wj5811 has been here for 6 seasons now. No reason to think he will leave now.
#22 Missouri - BlackCrowes will not be leaving. This is where he belongs.
#23 UTEP - ChampDizzIe - Had a fun season. Will look elsewhere for next season.
#24 WVU - Talented3 - He has been here for 7 seasons and will remain here for season 26.
#25 Tulsa - fsupenguin - He is not going anywhere unless the Seminoles become available. The issue here is that he may not know till after the draft order is released and by then, his decision has to be made already.
There is also a very interesting team that did not find themselves in the top #25 come seasons end.
Nebraska and coach uf83198. If he stays, then things will be pretty normal.
If he goes, chusker could move, Nole or fsupenguin would then possibly make a run for Florida State. nick is in talks about trying to snatch up Nebraska to save for Trendon's return to the NDL along with many other things that may shift and move around based on recent talks.
If Daw leaves Florida, that would also cause a domino effect that could impact Wasted at Tennessee, BIGmike at TCU and many others that may be interested in shifting around.
In my opinion, this is the most fun time of the year in the NDL.
I like seeing what plays out and who ends up where.
Stay Tuned, the draft order will be released in 2 days on Friday October 5th - by 8 pm eastern.

Re: Who is staying and who is going?
I think watching what happens in the SEC is going to be pretty entertaining. Just going off of gut feeling and not knowing anyone's scores, bank points, etc we could see the following teams available:
DEFINITELY AVAILABLE
Arkansas
Georgia
Ole Miss
Vanderbilt
PRETTY SURE AVAILABLE
Auburn - Close call, gut feeling says getting a new coach
Mississippi State - Won't stay
South Carolina - Close call, gut feeling is getting a new coach
Texas A&M - Swelly claims he can't keep 'em
DUMB RUMORS
Alabama -
Florida - Nah, wants another shot with his favorite team
LSU -
NEVER HAPPEN
Kentucky
Missouri
Tennessee
That's eight new coaches, five being in the West.

I am not even sure who has Auburn, but if you would, please have your bags packed and office cleaned out by Friday. Thanks.

I run the Swiss Cheese defense. It's not recommended.
With that said... I'm on the fence with UC. On one hand, it's the hometown squad and should be steady for the next few seasons, on the other, this offensive line is a train wreck and the chess club could get penetration against them.

I can grill up all this cheese with the skillets that pose as hands of UMass' receivers.

Re: Who is staying and who is going?
I am out of College Station. Mr Hyman, our athletic director, fired me after a 5 win season and finishing 4-2 in the sec west and having the number 1 toughest rated schedule in the ncaa.He said it wasnt going to work out...there are rumors of me stepping down as a coach all together. Are they true? Stay tuned...

Re: Who is staying and who is going?
A lot of people dont like me. I feel like i have lost all touch with my inner spirit by losing my ultimate job. There are highs and lows in this life, being fired from a 3 million dollar per year head coaching position has me really down in the depths of woeful sorrow today. Not sure if I can take the pain anymore, i just want to be loved....UclaMac wrote:Dont jump bro, you got a lot to live for!swellvermin wrote:I am out of College Station. Re: Who is staying and who is going?
3rd season NDL coach swellvermin has a busy week ahead of him, with three stops at three different campuses in 3 days. After being fired from his Alma Mater, Texas A&M, coach swelly has been on the run for more NDL NCAA football action. Can you guess what schools he will be traveling to and interviewing with? Clues below...
SOMEWHERE IN TEXAS
SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDWEST
SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE MIDWEST

Re: Who is staying and who is going?
It's an awesome read, but it would been an excellent read if you included all bcs schools

Looking hard at making the jump down Hwy 280 to the lovelist village on the plains.
