Re: Dominican Republic
We did a dinner cruise while in Punta Cana. It was awesome....Lobster and Steak all you can drink, dancing, and they even take you to some shallow part to get out and cool off if you have your swimsuits. Really beautiful to see the lights coming back in...
Where are you staying?

i stayed in a house in Casa De Campo when i was there a couple years ago... sick place. if you can get there for a day or 2, i'd recommend it.
i think its like 1 1/2 hours away from punta cana

We are staying all inclusive Majestic Colonal. 10 days, so we are thinking something around there. Have any of you done the whole riding horses on the beach and is it worth it? I know we will do dinner on the beach one night as well.

We did the horse back riding on the beach and in the water. It was ok for me but my wife loved it.
Defnitely recommend it for some points with the mrs.
Good fishing down there, deep sea it up!

Yup
Hurricane season means nothing unless there is an active storm within your area and then don't go.
Enjoy

Also rarely are there hurricanes in the Caribbean in July... We don't really pick up til late August.
Just checked storm pulse, nothing on the horizon for hurricanes, you should be fine.

Yes. thats where Michele and I stayed. We went for a wedding. THe girl getting married had a 12 year old and wanted to stay there so they were on hte north side of the property. But there is also a no kids allowed area just past the dividing tree line in hte two resorts. We would go to the kid side to see everyone or when we had someone like her parents watching the kid.....we would sneak everyoine back over to the adult side because there were so many kids on that side. The only problem was even though we called and checked ahead of time we couldnt get drinks served on the kid side of the resort. So people would just order extras and bring them to the tables/pool etc.
I think the adult only side was about 20-30 bucks more a night, but totally worth it to get away from the loudness of kids in hte pool.
So this was from our balcony...in front was tha main pool bar o nthe adult side. the building across is the back side of the main Colonial resort...

enjoy my man...it was a great location.
Re: Dominican Republic
Awesome stuff thanks guys. I think we will be getting the honeymoon suite, which i believe will be on the Adult side...We will be doing snorkaling, deep sea fishing, and zip lining.

Re: Dominican Republic
Make sure when you go deep sea fishing its not boring reef fishing for snapper and grouper and shit like that.
You want to catch big game, deep sea fish.
Marlin, sailfish, mahi. Fun shit.
Take some pics, have a blast.
