NDL College Fantasy Football League Season Six Announcement

Officially announcing that there will be a sixth season of the NDL College Fantasy Football League (NDL CFFL).

I know there were a few stumbles last year, but I'm going to make some changes this season, and basically make it as automated as possible through the website and hopefully we have another good year. If you're planning on coming back, please respond sometime this week, so I can find replacements if needed, or let me know if you're not coming back. If there is anyone that wants to join the league, go ahead and post and you'll be on the waitlist (usually add 1-2 a year)

The possible changes I would make could include

- No more bowl bonus week

- Instead of drafting a redshirt keeper, you draft one all-time keeper, but can play him from the start

- Others we might think up

That was actually my first thought, the bowl money going to regular season winner instead.

Ok, for the first time ever, everyone is coming back, hopefully we can keep that going on as well.

I will be sending you each your rosters soon, so you can tell me which 2 players you want as your keepers, that has to be decided by the end of June. And your redshirts as well, though as I said before, starting this season, you'll draft a freshman keeper that can stay on your roster his entire career, or you can drop him, and you can play him from the start.

These are the current changes. If you want more, now is the time to suggest them. I will also work out a better way of doing the playoffs, so that the website does it correctly this year, and the tiebreaker policy will be decided on before the season starts and posted.

Does the keeper still Have to Be a freshman or rfrosh?

Wasik... I could probably help you out if we're going to be handling the draft before late July (child on the way then).

Also, are we just nixing the previous redshirts, etc now? So all we'll do this season is keep 2 and designate 1 incoming Fr. redshirt?

I don't think so. You pick 2 players from this past seasons roster that wasn't a drafted redshirt for you then from here on out when you draft a freshman redshirt him and instead him sitting a season he's available right away.
