The first one was great, though it did get repetitive after a while, and even with all the weapons, eventually you just get stuck using the same guns over and over and nothing you find is useful.

But the online co-op was great to play with my buddy, other than the fact that the chat didn't work (seemed to always cut in and out) so I'd just have to call him and talk over the phone during the game.

However, based on what happened with the last game, it will be $40 about 4-5 weeks after it comes out, so I'll be looking to pick it up closer to the holidays, at least.

If anyone wants this when it comes out. It is getting a release day download on PSN Store. Meaning $15 a person for this game if you'd like.

I played the first one a little on Xbox and thought it was pretty solid. A lot of my friends on there teamed up and leveled each other up at a high rate, although I was never part of that. I would like to get in on this on for ps3. anyone play it yet??

Yep, that's it. It is pretty good. Online coop is great, especially when you play with people who are a higher level than you and you can access more powerfull weapons. My son and I played a lot last year too.

The microphone chat is much better this year (I always had trouble with it in the first game). Very easy to drop into a friends game if they're online too, so if we're on each other's friend list we can just go right into someone's game (unless they have it locked to stop that).

The game feels basically the same. Weapons seem to behave the same, but they were fun and consistent the first time. Nothing beats sniping off a guys head. Unless it is hitting him with a shotgun blast that shreds him to pieces. Or lighting him on fire with an elemental gun. Shit, there is just a ton of fun.

I've just played as "Zero" the assassin like character. Disappearing and then killing a guy with the sword while in "ninja mode" or whatever they call it is pretty sweet.

I've needed to play around with the aiming sensitivity because it's been a while since I played an FPS.
