I hate to admit it but I played this game too. But it was a long time ago, like 14yrs ago. Was that the last release of the game Hoos? I had the pc version.

i think Age of Empires is the last one i started playing.

i forget, hoos recommended one to me and i was some roman emperor and i sent a shuttle into space and that made me win.

was a true test of how my girl would react to realizing how much of a dork i really am.

I never got into AoE, but I played the fuck out of C&C: Red Alert at college. Of course, I play(ed) Warcraft and Starcraft. I never liked SimCity becaause I always found it to be unfulfilling. Capitalism II, however, hooked my ass and I wish SimCity would add more business aspects.

My ex's stepbrother gave me a copy of a sim city type game that was based on Ancient Egypt. I think it was called Pharaoh or something. I really enjoyed it but I can't find the disk or locate the game anywhere. My oldest son has started playing the AoE games and has almost sucked me back into them a couple times.

AoE, C&C and Warcraft were really fun games. I loved just building up bases and watching how the defenses held up.

I love simcity. I will try and get this and probably play for a solid 2 months and almost never play it again lol... i get so sucked in and then a natural disaster happens and wipes a bunch of shit out and then I turn the game off and never play again.

Those pictures look stunning.

I played Sim City 3000 a bit but spent ages playing games like Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge online as well as Rise of Nations. Spent many hours (days/weeks/months lol) playing Rollercoaster Tycoon too.

I do it the other way around. I am bored until I have to rebuild after a natural disaster.
