Please don't get them started. If you give these sissies enough time, they'll try and ban play calling itself.

I hate it, it gives the defense no set back if you do.

I'm scheduling you next season. I usually average 100+ strat points a game.

Again, my point is they are skill points, not strategy points.

I thought you were joking. No, I get tons of strategy points. Tons of them. Nobody complains, though, when I lead the league in penalties or fumbles. Nope, LOVE STRATS THEN! But, we've all been down this road before and while most of the latest conversations have ended well/civilized, I will no longer debate it publicly after this post. In my opinion, even guess run should be allowed because there is enough downside to each strat that, if people don't go into automaton mode (which most of you do; same plays, same method, no thought), then you can counter them. It was an immediate knee jerk reaction by a small minority of the players in this league that saw it and said, "Shit, I'll have to actually THINK if my opponent uses guess run on obvious running downs! Ban it!"

It's been years since we've had a version of the game where user catch was over done to the point where someone had to worry about it making a difference in the outcome of a game.

Actually, user catching is the best way to combat the user catch.

the reason guess run was banned was because the feature was broken. You could guess run middle and the dline would blow up the play EVERY time. For it to work right your guesses would have to punish you, a guess middle on a toss play would get crushed as would an hb tackle right on a guess run left. But that doesn't happen, so they banned it. Also, all the bitching about strat points and people calling it out is bullshit, the NDL rarely docks for anything these days, we all either are extremely tolerable or extremely sim.

I just want them to add missed FGs and blocked kicks.

Also this isn't the time to be bitching about gameplay, its the next of NCAA 12 and half the league has already traded in the game. (corey did about 2 months ago).

I played Trendon and he used some of those features just not on every snap. It doesn't matter that he uses them he's so fucking bad at the game anyway. My favorite was when he guessed run to my offensive left and I ran a toss to the right and laughed my ass off to the end zone.
