You were converted from the iPhone to a Droid? I'm well on my way to heading the opposite direction...bearass wrote:suggestions? I've pretty much got everything I had on iPhone already.

Yeah, I'm switching to an iphone this week or next. My droid is driving me nuts. Thing freezes all the time.

PS3 Friends is cool for NDL members. You can check from your phone if your opponent is online without having to boot up the PS3 if they turn out not be online.

Half of what I hear in this thread is "My modern car is have a small problem, I'm going to go get a Model T."

Main reason I made the switch Mike. Absolutely zero problems with the iPhone.

Re: Droid apps
Droid specific apps:
For music players, either WinAmp or DoubleTwist.
To download free music, MP3 Music.
There are a million apps to customize how you receive texts which is awesome(try doing that on your stinkin Iphone lol), so you may wanna try a few, but the best one I've found is SMS Popup. It's by far the best app that I own. If you get it and like it, let me know if you need help with the settings, though they're pretty straight forward after you mess with it for a while.
To make ringtones, Ringtone Maker. It's a really easy way to take the music on your phone and chop it to make ringtones any way you wish.
Amazon App Store. This is different from the regular Amazon app. There's a free app of the day from Amazon only for Droid users. It's a little tricky but I think I got the steps on how to set it up here. If not, ask Jsence, as he's the one who tipped me off on that app. I've gotten many of $5 apps or so for free, and don't use half of em, but you may like some lol. Lots of games and shit, but every once in a while you get a nice one.
It's also self explanatory, but let me know if you need help or tips or whatever on the widgets/shortcuts and stuff like that on customizing your home screens. Hell, you can probably give me tips as you already told me how to do the screencap that I didn't know about.

A slow phone is not a small problem. And I have tried everything short of a factory reset to speed it up.dakshdar wrote:Half of what I hear in this thread is "My modern car is have a small problem, I'm going to go get a Model T."
