Start em or Sit em

Post by TEEwade »

Off to a great start with Drew Brees. Up 34-0. MUST start 2 WRs and 2 RBs then a flex. Not points per reception if that makes a difference to this situation.

Part of my remaining lineup:

RB: Ahmad Bradshaw
RB: Beanie Wells
Flex: ????
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Wes Welker

Just curious if I should put Knowshown Moreno at the Flex, or Miles Austin? Austin has slight injury but is probable. Also is playing vs Revis. I feel like Moreno vs the Raiders could be more effective but it is so hard to convince myself to bench Austin my 3rd or 4th round pick I believe. Any insight? Also, should I go with Moreno over Beanie Wells if Austin is indeed my flex.

Jahvid Best;

Benjarvus Green-Ellis

OR

Felix Jones

it's a PPR league w extra points for return yardage. I'm going to start Best but unsure which of the other two I should go with.

If you have to start two go with jones and best, if you have to start just one go with jones. (im the biggest lions fan you will meet). best will be decent, but nothing as a runner

i do not love moreno, but he is indeed a better play than austin. i have austin in one of my leagues, but i have no depth in that league

Austin is also nursing a gimpy ankle I believe. Hes not 100% this week.

Ive got one for you guys....

Matt Scaub Against the Colts
or
Ben Rothlesberger against the Ravens

Interesting player notes: Colts game up the most fantasy pointts vs QB and the Ravens 2nd most according to Yahoo.

My thought is that the Texas vs Colts mat be a blowout and Schaubs passing value will be down. Steelers love to pass regardless and I think even moreso this year.

Who do you guys go with?

IK buy into that...Texans are too but I think they will be more oriented this week for some reason.

Tfan - Schaub is the way to go. With Daniels back and Foster being out they will throw more and Schaub will be on fire I think.

JohnnyP - Mike Williams... I know you dont want to hear it but the Lions vs Bucs game will be a shoot out and Williams is just awesome.

Jsense - I am a huge Cowboy fan but I say Green-Ellis. He will get a TD or two and is playing a cupcake Miami D. They will be up early and he will get the ball. I just dont think Felix comes out and does anything vs a tough Jets D.

Teewade - I say Miles just because I think McGahee gets the redzone carries and I think the front line of the Raiders are actually pretty good. Also Revis is not as good as people say but thats just my opinion.

My question is Braylon Edwards, Devone Bess or Denarius Moore? not a PPR league

you have good reasons for all of yours, i would go with braylon since he has the long ball and playing seattle. the other two would be better for PPR leagues

Should I go:

Jamaal Charles vs Buffalo
Matt Forte vs Atlanta

or on my bench:

Jacobs vs Washington
D'Angelo Williams vs Arizona

Need 2 RBs

I thought I heard that Revis was going to cover Bryant anyway, so that might not be a deciding factor

on profootballtalk.com
Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that Darrelle Revis will be on Miles Austin on Sunday Night Football. Bryant will draw Antonio Cromartie.

i like the catchups for charles and williams. Anyone playing Buffalo ahas a good matchup and with KCs QB gimpy Charles is going to get alot of touches. I dont depend on Forte anymore plus Cutler will be throwing a few picks today and cutting drives short. Jacobs will be a good play as well since the redskins D is subject vs the run.

Corey go with Charles 100% and then I say Forte just because he is the main guy there. Stewart and Bradshaw will steal a lot of looks from DeAngelo and Jacobs. If you want to go with someone other then Forte go with Jacobs he kills the Redskins everytime he plays them.
