For some reason he's going off last years fantasy points. He still hasn't solidified it yet but that was one of the trades he through at me in passing.

i have jacobs on both of my teams, not sure i'm excited about it but w/e

...as for Forte, if you're in a PPR league he's much more valuable. If not, I'd be worried about Marion the Barbarian stealing goalline carries

I was thinking of starting Jacobs anyways as I think he will have a solid season and be their goal line back as usual down there for some points.

I am not in a PPR so Forte wont help me there. Hopefully D'Angelo bust back on the scene.

i like Forte (compared the bad rap he gets from alot of people and the other comparable rb's around his level), he's a 80-100 yards with his receiving included...throw in a random td here or there and he's a nice player.

not going to win a league because of him, but he's a nice piece to have imo.

i also think Deangelo is a steal where guys are getting him. i drafted him last night in like the 5th round... people quickly forget how good he was before the disaster that was Jimmy Clausen, Matt Moore and whoever else was his QB. Deangelo is a stud and they feed him the rock... if he stays healthy enough to get 225 - 250 carries he'll be a very nice piece on your team, imo.

of course i'm concerned. but i don't think the Panthers are going to be the historically bad offense that they were last year and because of that i think he gets a slight bump in value. I don't think Williams is a 18 td guy like he was a few years ago... but 1200 yards and 8-10 td's is certainly a possibility... not sure how many other guys getting drafted in that 4-5 round range i think have that upside.

I got him really late, like 6 or 7 actually and agree with you that he was a steal there.

Solid team Corey, Philly D will be a good one to have with all the talent they picked up. I like your RBs actually. I am guessing you start 2 RBs and either 3 WRs or 2 WRs with a possible flex player? EIther way leaves you with a good situation.


Thought i would post mine. This is my big money league and its 14 teams. Its not a PPR league and you start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 D/SPT. I am nervous about having Romo but I have a good feeling about him this year, especially since he will be playing under Garrett as HC and not Phillips. I love that I got AP 3rd overall which makes me have him in 3 leagues now. With McNabb in Minnesota it will help him out more I think. I am like you Dave I like to play match-ups with my defense. I drafted the Saints D just bc I think they will be solid this year but I am playing Atlanta week 1. What you guys think?
