Anyone trying to run this for 2011?

Totally down to play in this if so. Not sure I want total responsibility running it but I suppose I'll help in any way I can. I'm sure there would definitely be guys excited to do it now because as I understand it kind of lagged considering it was April-May on Ncaa 10 when you all were trying to do it. I was initially one who really wanted to do lightning but spoke too soon and got burned out on ncaa 2010 as it started up so I actually backed out.

Anyways, I'm for real now and would love to see this get going on Ncaa 2011. My focus and activity is going to be almost Ncaa 2011 only as Modern Warfare 2 is really getting boring. I'm willing to pitch in some money for leaguedaddy as well. Whatever it takes to get it going. I don't think I'll be able to make it just playing 2 NDL league games a week and maybe a ladder here or there which isn't the same thing.

Would anyone else be active and interested?

Me! I was jsut hitting my stride with UNC when things fizzled. + i am an NCAA whore.

Running the league really isn't much work at all. It takes a good day or so to set it up,then after that, it's cake. The only annoyance is when you reach the last week and still have guys with 8 games left unplayed. Then it's pretty frustrating. The 2nd season crapped all over itself about 2 weeks in. Even when I tried to revive it, I think everyone was finally all played out.

If the interest is there to do it during the season, I'd be game. We could feasibly play about 6 seasons without much of an issue.

I think you need to do something different. How about doing a World Cup setup? 32 teams would be ideal but 16 would work where have 4 groups, top two advance. Just a thought to add a little spark.

As always, I am in for sure with any setup and willing to throw a few bones in for the cause if needed.

Always fun to play games against legit players with teams I know I will never be able to get in the NDL.

I loved this idea for like 2 minutes... then it hit me... how would we handle the tiebreakers? It would be a terrible idea to use point differential. Thoughts?

Head2Head if involve 2 teams and probably an idea would be for 3 or more...a pick em in college football on the week's top games, top 2 advance

It sounds fun to at least try 1 season of NDL:L - World Cup

Good twist, but we'd have to wait until Sept to start. I don't even think we'd have to use Yahoo. I could just post the games and have them sitemail me. At worst, it would only take 15min to figure out the winner.

if you do a World Cup style setup and there is a tiebreaker needed, just have the teams play it out on the field. The two teams that are tied can play the shortest game possible (1 or 2 min quarters hopefully?) and then finish it off just doing the OT. Close to a penalty kick finish as is possible.
