NFL Week 2 Thread
Re: NFL Week 2 Thread
Trendon's QB ranking as of right now
Question: I have a dead-on-balls average football team and I need to win a game tomorrow. What QB would I pick if I could grab any of them?
In order ...
Brady
[Peyton Manning]
Rivers
Rodgers
Brees
Roethlisberger
Ryan
Romo
Vick
Schaub
Kolb
Cutler
Freeman
Flacco
Sanchez
Hasselbeck
Orton
Stafford
Bradford
Henne
Newton
Cassel
Eli Manning
Fitzpatrick
Campbell
McNabb
Collins
Dalton
Grossman
McCoy
Smith
McCown
Jackson

Re: NFL Week 2 Thread
I just picture Drew Bledsoe getting sacked, Scott Zolak looking retarded and taking 26 seconds off the play clock on one pass play, Millen fumbling, and Grogan scowling nastily at Eason and I smile. Dance your ass off, Tom. And continue to make Pittsburgh your personal 53-man bitch unit!

Why punt the ball there. Why not go for it. You know the Giants are just going to kneel the ball.

My best guess is to save Bradford from getting Tee'd off on one more time for the sake of trying to convert a 28 yard 1st down that gets them 1 step closer to still losing the game.buckeye76 wrote:Why punt the ball there. Why not go for it. You know the Giants are just going to kneel the ball.
That long of a distance, he'd have to wait a while to get the receivers deep enough, and possibly get slammed.
Only reason I can think of

St.Louis' Wide Receivers make me wanna go DC sniper on them so they must be replaced by people with talent. Holy fuck.
Re: NFL Week 2 Thread
I'm gonna send the Rams scouts a video of me catching a football, and tell them I wanna make the team

Fitzpatrick is definitely better than a few of those guys you listed, IMO.

Honestly, with just an average team, my choices are...
1. Vick, still the only guy on this list that can single-handedly change a game from the QB position
2. Rodgers, again his legs give him the edge over the other guys, who are all pretty interchangeable in my book
3. Brady
4. Brees
5. Manning
6. Rivers
