wouldnt it be Shels at bats end on the 4th pitch in a 3-0 count 73 times?

this would be accurate.

whit was slightly off because he said Shels players swung 5 times. that's not accurate. his players have probably swung far more than 5 times (and missed or fouled the ball off creating a 3-1 count and no outcome. there is also a small unlikely chance a 3-0 count could end with a runner being picked off on the bases as well resulting in a non-result).

they've hit the ball in play creating an outcome 5 times would have been a more accurate way of saying it.

baseball is such a wacky sport with so many little possibilities, this is fun.

I can't remember if I mentioned this or not, so if I did, I apologize and blame my children for making my brain go to mush.

But I haven't gotten a sim email since last Tuesday. I was just wondering if everyone got their normal emails for the remainder of last week, or if it's a widespread issue?

I can only click export. What happens after that is out of my control. I can't physically bring my exports to you.

I've mentioned my issue with exporting multiple times before...but for reference sake:
Sheltown Shockers
Last Export at Aug 3, 09:10
No injuries last sim. CPU controls my minors, so no changes needed to be made.

Jones Twirls No-Hitter Against Detroit
Thursday, June 27th, 2024
In a brilliant performance at Dean Martin Park (Dil), Dillonvale pitcher Marvin Jones entered an elite group today by tossing a no-hitter against the Detroit Stars. Hurling a complete game he fanned 8 and walked 2 in the 5-0 victory.

In the clubhouse, Jones said, "I was getting my off-speed stuff over so they couldn't sit on the fastball. My guys made some nice plays behind me, too, and cut off several hits."

Over the season Jones has thrown 104 innings and dished out 90 strikeouts with a 7-4 mark and a 2.51 ERA.

I believe that it's now a requirement for me to point out every single time I get the bad end of a trade... just so it's known... so Shel, congrats on winning out on our last trade. The stud SP prospect I got immediately tore his labrum in his throwing arm. (Insert 3 more paragraphs of bitching about how this screws me for the next 10 seasons year... or something)

6-1 sim vs PO and Albany. now just 4.5 back of Chicago.

Kevin Thomas is going to be missing a couple starts leading into the all star break with an injury.

youngsters Fred Thomas and Brad Ferguson are really starting to come around and play more consistent ball and are a big part of the improvements while foundation pieces like Boucher, Garant and McDaniel have been back to their solid ways.
