I am a Cal fan, they are awful on the road, 0-3, 2 blowouts. They kick ass at home, 35-0 against teams not named USC or Oregon State at home since 2004. Why? no clue. But Oregon St. +3 at home vs Cal. I am very tempted to put a lot of money here because I really think it will just be another blowout loss for the Bears.

Trendon's Personal Rules on Gambling

1. Pick the better team; don't get cute analyzing point spreads and what they mean. If you have to go that far, it is a NO PLAY.
2. Do not bet the side and total in the same game.
3. One unit sides/totals, half-unit on props.
4. Don't bet on your favorite teams.

Now, the reason I posted them is not for discussion, per se, as we all have different rules for our own selves. What is right for me may not be right for you and you might see angles that I will never see. I am going for my fourth (and, maybe, fifth if I kept better track) straight winning football season. I am up $1,700 right now; not bad for mostly $50 bets.

I'd be fucking up about twice that much if I didn't CONSTANTLY and REPEATEDLY violate my own rules. Fuck. The week ain't even done and I already broke three of them. I liked Louisiana Tech. But the fucking checkbox with Under (which you might recall, is basically rule #5 after I swore I'd never take an under again ... 72 hours ago.) was glowing.

Ugh. I am so disciplined with the amount played but I go fucking wild and crazy on the actual plays.
