Re: Workout Songs
Screw a bunch of running. Eat clean and lift. Twenty minutes of walking up hill or elliptical. Much easier on the knees.
As far as music nick, if you subscribed to Spotify just go under Workout. You'll find a ton of different playlists. Find the one that has the BPM that you're looking for. Perhaps some of the HIIT stuff.

I run a lot and nothing puts me more in the zone than Chance. Coloring Book is just great and I can't wait for the next album

Re: Workout Songs
Working out? WTF is that?? Been so long that I've forgot how that works.
Always had mood playlists... rock, different types of rap or hiphop, even some country.
Some of the favorites:
Eminem
TI
Ludicrous
Naz
DMX
Jay-Z
Black Eyed Peas
Linkin Park
Limp Bizkit (Collision Course gets bonus points)
Green Day
Godsmack
Metallica
Puddle of Mudd
Shinedown
Breaking Benjamin
Those are the ones that come off of the top of my head. Mostly groups/artists that have a few songs with similar cadence. Not a big fan of music that breaks a rhythm or departs from other songs. I want the music in each playlist to be consistent. Then choose the playlist based on the intensity/style that I'm looking for. If that makes any sense.

I usually go Pantera, dubstep, of Hip Hop. Amazon Prime has some great workout play lists.

Matisyahu - Sunshine
My wife and I stumbled across this song and it’s been a favorite of mine ever since.
