it shouldn't.. and in most cases it wouldn't.. but with the teams with almost the same resume, it was the only other option out there for me to judge the two teams.

Both teams have very good cases..

MSU bounced back after an early loss and both teams won the conf champ game. But Florida had a loss by 1 point to FSU and then came back and dominated LSU. In fact when I look at the box score from that game it looks like Florida had to ease up to stay under the 35 point cap. I dont know anything about Okie State to be honest but like it was already said the fact they dont play in a conf champ game hurts them. I think during any other season any one of these 3 could be an obvious choice but since they are so close in this one you literally have to split hairs. For me its the Gators just based on his wins and that he was literally 1 point away from being undefeated like VT.

Yeah, I'm not doubting your method. I just was stating that I hadn't thought to look at the Cup games because I was always under the impression they didn't count towards the regular season.

Yeah, I'm not doubting your method. I just was stating that I hadn't thought to look at the Cup games because I was always under the impression they didn't count towards the regular season.

Just for the sake of arguing something meaningless, but along the same lines as the logic everyone is deploying. You do know VT beat Florida State TWICE right? Florida State beat Florida.

So I guess that means Florida cannot beat VT

That like the judge telling the jury to disregard what they have seen, even if you try to ignore it you are still going to impacted by it. I'm not saying you are incorrect at all, just not realistic I think.

8 out of 14 teams in the SEC had a .500 or below records, so there goes your strenght of schedule argument. The team I got in the number two spot beat 3 ranked teams during the regular season as opposed to your beloveds 2. Both have 1 loss overall and Florida's came on their last game!
Like I said, it's a very tough call in my opinion, far from as obvious as you see it through those conference goggles you're wearing.

well, im almost certain, im leaning liek 100% certain, they ask us not to say anything about who we're voting cause you know, this is the only poll that matters and they dont want people swaying votes. thats why when people make posts they give subjective info to multiple teams.. but you know, i should STFU, right?....
