By no means am I trying to be an a-hole here lol, but haven't they seen tourists come by for years and years now that would have had similar devices?

Or maybe it's that they've seen it before, but obviously the technology is still something they can't grasp so it's still awe inspiring.
the maasai tribe we went to visit hadn't seen a tourist in months.

we only saw this particular group because our guide used to be a part of this maasai tribe when he was younger before leaving to live a normal life.

there are hundred (maybe thousands) of maasai villages. some see tourists all the time and some are in the middle of mountains hundreds of miles away from towns and they don't ever see any.

if i could get a video of me with the Maasai posted, you'd change your opinion.

you can't really comprehend these people without listening/seeing them. pics do no justice.

In the pic of you dancing, it looks like youre getting ready to bend back and blow out your knee again.
thats exactly the move i was talking about in those messages

How was the weather over there this time of the year? Pretty awesome stuff, the pic of the hippo is my favorite.

we woke up around 5:30 am everyday and it was about 60 degrees or so then and during the day it probably got up into the high 80's or so.

its the end of rainy season and winter when we got there. which is why the colors are so bright... during the hot/dry season there isn't nearly as much green and alot more dust. we didn't have many issues with dust at all and because it was still considered 'rainy' season we didn't see many other trucks.

So you guys had sex on a plain in Africa surrounded by lions and hippos and dashiki tribe members chanting outside your tent?

How romantic

didn't have any issues. didn't see anything crazy. far worse when i was in Costa Rica or places in the carribean.

the places i stayed at sprayed your room while you were at dinner and then put mosquito nets over the beds for when you returned. we just sprayed a ton of bug spray and didn't have any issues.

at night tho, when you're in heavily wooded areas, the tsetse flies are a bitch and the bug spray doesn't really do anything. but we only had 1 encounter with them.
