with barber out though forte will have a big daytexasfan4444 wrote:Cnasty wrote:Should I go:
Jamaal Charles vs Buffalo
Matt Forte vs Atlanta
or on my bench:
Jacobs vs Washington
D'Angelo Williams vs Arizona
Need 2 RBs
i like the catchups for charles and williams. Anyone playing Buffalo ahas a good matchup and with KCs QB gimpy Charles is going to get alot of touches. I dont depend on Forte anymore plus Cutler will be throwing a few picks today and cutting drives short. Jacobs will be a good play as well since the redskins D is subject vs the run.

thats a tough one, it might be a slopfest in the cin game and cleveland so that is a decent matchup, you will not be able to run up the middle vs NE and if they go outside bush will be the man rather than the other two rbs. this looks like a toos-up, but i might go with bush on that one

The Browns have a good secondary I would go with Bush who will be a active part in the Miami offense. With two rookies Dalton and Green it would be hard to go with them.

I do not have him on any of my teams, and i know it would be tough to sit him, but i would sit ray rice this week if any one of you guys have him. his stats blow vs pitt every year and i have a feeling it wont change

I agree Johnny. I have Mendenhall and I was even tempted to sit him but I just cant. I could put bradshaw in at RB and then go Mike Williams (TB) as Flex but I think Mendenhall has 2 scores today actually. Call me crazy lol
Also last question from me.... with Sidney Rice being doubtful should I go with Collie or Julio Jones. Only league I could get Julio and I am excited to have him.

i think collie is going to be a bust this year, but that is just me. you have to look at who is going to get a TD and i think Julio has a better chance at doing that then collie

Re: Start em or Sit em
I have Moreno starting tomorrow night. There was a report that he will be splitting carries evenly with McGahee, until one proves to be the better back on the day. So we have yet another RBBC in Denver.
Beanie Wells is facing a porous Panther defense
Ryan Mathews (SD), has the potential to be a good #2 RB but he is always hurt.
Which of these three do I start opposite of Ahmad Bradshaw?

George go with Beanie... i am not a huge fan of him but Moreno will be splitting the carries and Matthews will be splitting the carries with Tolbert. Beanie doesnt really have anyone taking from him and again the Panthers D isnt that great. Plus the Raiders and Vikings have good Run D's in my opinion.

Re: Start em or Sit em
Just needed a fantasy thread to post this question...
... and KC fans (or anyone really?) have a good idea on what KC is going to do with Charles out? I have him in 1 league and my options behind him aren't amazing (Woodhead). Is this going to turn into the TJ show, or is McCluster on the verge of breaking out? I thought I saw that McCluster has some fumbling issues.

Had Charles as well.
For now I added Sproles and put Jacobs as my starter.

i'm interested to see how much McCluster can handle as a back.
he's got the breakaway type ability but he's a tiny dude, right?

Re: Start em or Sit em
I should have known better to draft 2 Chiefs on my offense going into this season with last season as a fluke.
Bowe and Charles just smell of busts with that offense.

Re: Start em or Sit em
pick up thomas jones but also watch todays NFL signings, usually teams will sign players on Tuesdays to they can get them in the game plan starting Wednesday.
Denver looking to sign a WR or RB today because of injury issues, reported by local news station....

Re: Start em or Sit em
Good call, hopefully Yahoo has the players already in the system.
As for Sproles, I added him on just about every team I had as a late round pick... 2 preseason games was enough for me to know that he was going to produce Reggie type numbers, but potentially better. It's amazing how the midget QB can consistently find the midget RB.

If I were to pick up either one of those KC RBs I would pick up McCluster. Watching the Lions game he looked better than Jones....But neither one of them would be a starter unless a super deep league
