Took 3 of 4 from New York and 2 of 3 from Las Vegas. Tried something different this sim. Pitched The General and B. Smith on 4 days rest, didn't end so well. Patton gives up 9 hits and 7 runs in the 8-1 loss in the series opener to Vegas and B. Smith gives up 9 hits 6 runs (3 earned) in a 11-8 slug fest win that saw 8 extra base hits by Omaha and a pair of HR's by Cole and Ball.

Dillonvale takes 1 of 3 from Phoenix and 1 of 3 from Washington.

Coach Niddler, "We made a trade that sends some very good veterans along with some very good/great young prospects to the Detroit Stars.
While we lost some great prospects in this one, we feel that we won in this trade. We gained arguably one of the top pitchers in OOTP in McCarty.
Having a true #1 SP now, I cannot wait to get prospects Ryan Jenkins and Jose Echegoyen up to ML level and see what our rotation will be capable of at that time.
SP Marvin Jones needed some help and we feel we have accomplished that through this trade in adding SP McCarty and a couple relievers.

As far as McCarty's injury, we have a good trainer that will get his shoulder healed up and make sure he is ready to come out spitting fire.
We also added a key outfielder in Roger Peterson to anchor alongside Nick Swanger once we get him up to ML level.
Things are starting to come together and I am excited to see what the future holds for our ball club."

Next sim is a 3 game series vs the Ohio Fighting Amish and a 3 game series vs the San Antonio Generals.

Cows go 5-2 after sweeping a 4 game series vs the Habs, and dropping 2 of 3 to the grass snakes.

Division lead is up to 5.5 with a big series coming this week vs 2nd place Seattle. That's followed by three games vs Cincy.

Cameron Briggs continues his ridiculous season (for his ratings, at least), moving to 12-3 with a 3.25 ERA. Luckily the pitching as a whole has picked up, as Paco is in a bit of a slump for the first time all season, and Ruiz continues to slide downhill. The bullpen continues to be a rock, led by Mustang Gonzales' 1.60 ERA and his 8 saves in the last month (including 4 in a 5 day span)

S23: ECU 12-2

What the hell is with the exports? I made a shit ton of changes last night and none of them stayed. I mean I made sure I had minors lineups edited so all players were eventually getting in. I made ML roster changes as well.

When were they pulled?

I have never had a problem.

Are you checking the OOTP website to verify your exports are going through?
http://ndlootp.com/cgi-bin/ootpou.pl?page=export

I check that after each time I click the export button and it says successful.

If it does not show it updated, I would recommend you refresh the webpage, if it still does not show it, I would do export again till it shows it updated.

I know, look at my date and time. Way before the sim. Now why wouldn't it reflect in the sim and the new file?

maybe someone (dave) has hacked your password and is downloading the new file and right before reign takes exports, he uploads under your name to erase all changes you made. Niddler is also a strong possibility to be able to do this. :D

The only way it wouldn't take is if the file didn't have the information. Your export was received properly. This means that the last file that you uploaded didn't have the changes in it.

1.) You uploaded once. Made changes. Uploaded again and it didn't take.
2.) You made changes. You uploaded. You closed the program. Changes weren't saved. You logged back on. You uploaded again (maybe with a few different changes). Original file was removed and only the last file is kept.

There's also option 3...
3.) Whatever you change is overwritten by whatever your management settings are the CPU overwrote them.

I have done this before. I will shut my CPU down without closing OOTP, and when I come back on, all changes are gone. So I either redo everything or I just leave my original export alone (if i did one).

No, I have control over everything. It is what it is...I just have to roll with it.

I had a similarly weird thing. I uploaded a file (as proven by the fact I resigned a a bunch of players) but my pitchers were all fucked. And I know I set them. Odd.
