1. #11 Arizona at #2 California
This game would have been a lot more interesting if Arizona was still undefeated but in a week without any other marquee games or interesting match-ups, this will have to do. I personally know nothing of coach Outlaw so I did a little research. He has been in the NDL since it's inception and has won 10 games or more 5 of the last 6 seasons. However, in that span, he has yet to win a conference championship. So, that basically says to me that he has screwed up in conference and will again. With USC and Oregon having down years, you have to look at the Zona schools to take him out. I think that Mike J. is up to that challenge even though his play this season has far exceeded his normal expectations (He is a bowl team, but lives for the Houston and Emerald level bowls). Sadly, this game is in California, which gives Outlaw a slight advantage and I see him pulling out the tight victory.
Final Score: Arizona 20 Calfornia 26
2. #22 TCU at Wyoming
Unlike it's useless west coast counterpart, the WAC; the Mountain West is full of quality teams. These two however, seem to be the cream of the crop and this one plays huge into who will win the Mountain West. Both owners started slow, and have a bit of trouble getting games played on time, but that methodical approach as led them to only two losses between them. This game will not be pretty though. A mix of purple, brown, yellow, white and black just screams ugly. I mean were you choking some chick to turn her that purple TCU? Still, Wyoming versus TCU just sounds like a rustic game, played in wilderness where wives are beat. You really wouldn't expect these teams to score a lot of points, just a smash mouth game.
Final Score: TCU 27 Wyoming 21
3. Kansas State at #8 Nebraska
This is an interesting match-up in my book. Yes AJ has been going balls deep on the season, but Nebraska still hasn't beaten anyone worth noting. He has everything to lose in this game and nothing to gain as a win over a lackluster Wildcat side won't even blip on anyone's radar. Nebraska however will likely move up 3 slots with a win as someone above him will surely lose to a ranked or decent opponent as Nebraska beats someone useless yet again. I mean, I knew this league was just like the real thing, but come on, Nebraska does not deserve the #8 ranking! Look at who they beat! It is almost as bad as Buffalo getting votes (which is funny as shit because Trendon blows up about it every time). I really just want someone to knock Nebraska off to take them out of the BCS picture. AJ isn't very good, but it's his league and he can do whatever the hell he wants right?
Final Score: Kansas State 38 Nebraska 35

#5 Penn State at Michigan State
This game was going to be reserved for the WAC but they do not have a single out of conference game these two weeks and Nevada beating down someone doesn't seem very interesting. So I went back to the old faithful of picking against Weasel as he is likely to lose to Shel. I am using the logic that since Illinois took Sparty behind the woodshed, and Penn State beat Illinois, that Penn State would just cockslap Michigan State. Ever see Boogie Nights at the end where they do the classic 80s montage of all the characters and how they ended up. The one that sticks out is the Colonel who is getting bitch slapped by a big black dude in his jail cell. That is how I picture Weasel not only in this game, but in life. Shel should easily handle the lackluster Weasel.
Final Score: Penn State 40 Michigan State 7

Winner- Tim Tebow

Who was flavorful this week? These owners.
8. Tennessee (6-1)- Might as well give the Vols a bit of love. They could run the table and it wouldn't matter because they lost to Florida already.
7. Nevada (6-1)- If he loses in conference to anyone but Hoos, I will likely switch him from Flavorful 8 to the Bottom 10.
6. Penn State (6-1)- Still the trendy pick to play Big Mike in the Championship if the Pac-10 implodes.
5. Illinois (8-1)- May be the 2nd best team in the league, but since his loss is to Penn State, doesn't have a chance at the National Championship.
4. Arizona State (6-0)- Game looming vs Cal looks to be a classic.
3. California (6-0)- Slightly ahead of Zona State due to the great point difference, that game looks to be the play-in for the National Championship
2. Florida (9-0)- He is making the rest of the league look silly at this point.
1. Buffalo- May not be #1 in this league, but will always be #1 in our hearts.

The Bottom 10 is brought to you by Kings of Leon, a favorite band of Trendon, Dolemite and other Bottom 10 dwellers, enjoy. Not a whole lot of changes this week as not many Bottom 10 dwellers won except Oregon State and Toledo. Navy's new coach gets him out as well. The WAC Quad is holding down the Bottom 10 fort with Missouri as the new #1, they are hopeless.
10. Buffalo (2-5)- High Roller Novocaine: Trendon in Vegas, gambling on drugs. Just gonna throw it out there that he might not return home from the trip.
9. Utah State (1-7)- Four Kicks: The first of 4 WAC teams in the Bottom 10, lucky for the Aggies, he should be able to win a few games against the other owners.
8. Louisana Tech (1-6)- What I Saw: On paper, they are the best of the WAC 4, and from what I saw when I played them, they should be able to pick up a win.
7. Kansas State (1-8)- Sex of Fire: Sex on fire? sounds like an STD, AJ is my vote to get on on the Vegas trip, will it help his game? probably not, but he plays Missouri next week so he should win anyways.
6. New Mexico State (1-6)- Use Somebody: He already has a covetted WAC OOC win, so he should be able to use some other WAC owner and pick up another victory to get him off this list.
5. NDLers going to Vegas- Wasted Time: Is there anything creepier than a bunch of middle age men, drunk, hitting on young girls? These guys will probably spend the weekend drinking on the side of the club, tapping their feet to the music... which may or may not be Kings of Leon.
4. San Jose State (0-4)-California Waiting: I don't know what San Jose State is waiting for, they haven't played in weeks. It is the WAC dole, you could win 3 games easily.
3. SMU (0-7)- The Bucket: These ponies might be ready to kick the bucket now, they have looked awful this season.
2. North Texas (0-6)- King of the Rodeo: These Texans may be better cowboys than football players, they did manage to suck less than Missouri though.
1. Missouri (0-8)- Fans: Probably the best fan base of any Bottom 10 team, but everyone in this league has lost hope in Missouri winning at this point.
Apologize to: Army, Memphis, Arkansas, Wake Forest, Duke

Probation. We should somehow incorporate it into the NDL. Owners with shady play and lousy coaching reports shouldn't just be punished with crappy teams, they should not be allowed to compete in bowl games. It is a concept that should be discussed in the NDL. We want to make this league as realistic as possible and nothing screams realism like shady play and probation. Another use for the probation would be if the user doesn't play games on time. If docking them points doesn't work out, then probation from post season play would hit hard against quality teams that don't play on time. Make it like a 3 strike rule, if you are caught lagging or being sheisty three times, then you go on probation for a year. I bet teams would learn real fast not to do it again. Another part to add to the lack of postseason play is dock of 10 draft slots or more/less depending on the infraction. This is similar to docking scholarships. A committee (i.e. make the commishes do it) would be able to handle this well.

WAC Update: This update doesn't include Nevada as they haven't played and are actually a decent team. As I stated last week, they are 2-20 out of conference. I decided to dive deeper to see where exactly those two victories came from. The first is New Mexico State's OT win over North Texas. The same North Texas team that is winless on the season and currently ranked #2 in the Bottom 10. This was actually the game North Texas came the closest to winning! The second is Boise State's 27-9 win over Buffalo. Yes, Trendon's Bulls. That's it, those are the two wins they have mustered.
Not many other stats jump out this week. The WAC's ineptitude and Nebraska's ranking are still my two major gripes on the season. Voting irregularities would be up there if they didn't;
1. exist in real life NCAA
2. piss trendon off so easily
I swear trendon is like that little brother of the NDL, you try to piss him off just to see if you can get a reaction.
