McNabb cannot be happy about this.
That said....imagine a "wildcat" with McNabb, Vick, and Westbrook...and DeSean Jackson.

tim, I would sell them. pay for your tickets for next year. plus, where you going to get top dollar for a ticket and the reason for the top dollar demand is to watch a guy hold a clipboard. only in america baby!
Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
funny thing is, as soon as i texted steven (guy you met) about it, he was like, "you haven't sold those yet have you? tell me we're going?" lol
i'll have to see what the demand is. i could use the $.

Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
wonder if the nfl will ban the song "who let the dogs out" when teams are hosting the eagles?
Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
now that one was too easy.
i'm tempted to join the iggles message board just to gauge the reaction. i'll say this, they despised him when we had to play them. the hate they had was almost as bad as the panthers fans who hated him because he owned them twice a year like clockwork.

cmon now tim, your going a little too far there. That happened his first season against us but lets not take it too far.

i knew i'd get a panthers fan to respond.Mattdaddy wrote:cmon now tim, your going a little too far there. That happened his first season against us but lets not take it too far.

but yes, he owned them. 6-3 if i recall correctly. my fav was the superman diving game. that was right in front of us.
most frustrating game was the stinking game where you guys ran it like 60 times. that was the worst game i've ever watched. ed donatell was an idiot.

No way they would have even offered him without McNabb being on board with it. Not the team I expected, but I will plan to try and go see him play when they come to town for sure. Might even try and get myself a new Vick jersey.

he does deserve a second chance...but not in a spot-light...that chance is gone.
sorry.

Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
vick is the man, hope he returns to glory
Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
The wildcat wont work in the NFL after you give the D coordinators a year to figure it out.
I bet Vick can still play a little man, good pick up by the Eagles.

Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
Lol Fiesty sounds like the response I get when I wear my Vick Jersey.
I have yet to wear the jersey out here in the bay area, I sure with all the stupid ppl here who find anything to protest about would give me some looks and choice things to say.
Hell for a while I started wearing the jersey just to piss people off.
I am interested to see how they use Vick once he gets back to playing form, and is use to the speed of the game again.

returns to glory? did he ever reach it in the first place?cdub21 wrote:vick is the man, hope he returns to glory
I'm glad he is back because some idiot will draft him in a fantasy league looking for a miracle. good luck eagles dealing with the shit side show all season.
Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
i guess being the #1 pick in the nfl draft is not glory to some... or fuck even being on the cover of madden. obviously hes no tom brady but he was fucking sweetplasma1896 wrote:returns to glory? did he ever reach it in the first place?cdub21 wrote:vick is the man, hope he returns to glory

Re: Vick Signs 2-year deal with Eagles
He wont be a side show one bit, gurantee you here very little from his mouth as far as negative stories go this season. ESPN will announce every 10 secs when he takes a 7 step drop in practice but he will stay clean that's for sure.plasma1896 wrote:returns to glory? did he ever reach it in the first place?cdub21 wrote:vick is the man, hope he returns to glory

EDIT: McNabb just agreed with me the Wildcat is not here to stay.......in the NFL.

I dont know that being a backup QB is really being in a "spot-light".LGF wrote:he does deserve a second chance...but not in a spot-light...that chance is gone.

Oh, and it sure would be fun seeing a wildcat with Vick taking the snap and DeSean Jackson on 1 side and Jeremy Maclin on the other side.
