1. Michigan State at Notre Dame
All I can say is I hate Weasel, he is one of the least liked owners here and his quality of play shows it. Driccio may had Connecticut sleeping on him, but he still put up 49 points on Michigan State's shaky defense. Now, he goes up against a quality opponent in Notre Dame. This Notre Dame team will not deal with Michigan State's questionable play calling and will put Weasel in his place. This game will be closer than everyone expects but Notre Dame will pull away in the end.
Final Score: Michigan State 21 Notre Dame 33
2. Arizona at Oregon State
A Pac 10 conference matchup pits two middle of the road Pac 10 teams against each other in an early season match up. Both teams are coming into the game 1-0 and will likely be flirting with the Top 25 all season. This game will pit shifty vs Mangnum in a game that is unlikely to have BCS implications but will have major bowl implications as both of these teams are expected to play bowl games. Oregon State's personel have a slight advantage as Arizona is still breaking in their new QB. I expect Oregon State's defense to swarm Arizona's offense. Arizona will get super pissed then for using the word Swarm (they were the Desert Swarm sporting half cut jerseys). This swarm of Oregon State however is the hippy variety who listens to Phish and smokes all day. This haze like swarm will take out Arizona's defense unless they kinda just wonder off; but I don't see that happening.
Final Score: Arizona 20 Oregon State 24
Middle Tennessee State at Baylor
Middle Tennessee State scheduled like they want to play in the Big 12, first they scheduled Texas Tech and this week they now have Baylor. The Blue Raiders put up a good fight against Texas Tech but they still went down in the end 38-28 in a game that was not as close as it appeared. Now they go up against a 2-0 Baylor team that is looking to become bowl eligible and play in a bowl game that doesn't have a crappy name (Papa Johns Bowl?). I mean, your first bowl game in 15 years; you should get to play in a bowl that existed the last time you played in a bowl game! Or at least not in a bowl game that has a .com or created by a D-bag. Show of hands who doesn't want to punch "Papa John" in the face? I digress, Baylor wins.

The challenge got off to a blazing start and we'll just say that this thing is not going to last 5 weeks at the rate we are going. 80 Players have thrown INTs! Granted, a few of those are back-ups and punters, but that is still a large chunk of signal callers. In fact, many Week 1 and 2 games have yet to be played so the field may even be slimmer when it is all said and done. Sadly, contrary to what I predicted, Tim Tebow is still alive with a 25-30 game and 5 TDs. The gunslinger of the group so far? Geogrio Morgan of Kent State has thrown 44 passes and yet to throw a pick.

8. Western Kentucky- All Wildes did was go 2-0 to match his win total after being in the league for only a week. This will set him up with a nice BCS school next year.
7. Florida- proved me right by ballin' his fist and giving Ohio State the once over.
6. Akron- Even though Akron got put in his place by Houston, their is no shame in that. His win over ULM puts him on this list
5. Virginia- Packsyd starts the season 2-0 which puts him in a great place to start his ACC schedule. He really does put the "Virgin" in Virginia (Just kidding, we all know you're easy)
4. Syracuse- Another owner who has no right winning 2 games, and he is 2-0, not a bad start to the season
3. Miami (FL)- It is the U, as long as Walker doesn't screw this up, he will always be flavorful
2. UAB- no he didn't play, but this may be the last chance I get to put him here and say that everything is more flavorful when you are a blazer
1. Baylor- Big 12 South better watch out for these Bears, how pissed would people get if Baylor actually won the Big 12 South?

6. New Mexico- Stupid Girl: This is where you end up when you have a female kicker at some point for your team
5. Houston's defensive line- Push It: 10 sacks from Tyrell Gramham!?!?! This man must be pushing steroids
4. Utah State-Special: Utah State is a special team that is in the Bottom 10 so much that they should pay rent
3. Boise State- Tell Me Where It Hurts: A top 25 team loses their first 2, need to regroup to save their season
2. UL-Pickem- Bleed Like Me: The schools that bleed together, stay together; combined 0-4
1. Temple- Subhuman: Their defense gave up 72 points in 2 games, they aren't playing like humans at this point
My weekly rant is against NDL owners who write paragraphs of useless opinions and don't contribute to NDL ESPN! We have 5 people for NDL ESPN; dolemite runs the weekly gameday featuring myself and Jsense. Husker chimes in with some picks and a weekly recap, and then we have Champ who is borderline useless with his crapEdit: Champ is not useless, he is about 8x more useful then... oh lets say Driccio. So really we have 3.4 people. You guys can debate line blitzes and shifts and other useless crap but you can't write an article once in a while? I do realize that half of this league can't write using propper sentence structure to save their lives but a few of you have no excuses. You guys will be sorry when you have dolemite, Jsense, Husker and myself put into the media poll and a legit team (Weasel, listen close) may get voted out of a BCS Bowl because of a previous vendetta. Finally, if you still can't contribute, post a comment saying you enjoyed it, discuss it, say anything to let us know you want us to keep going. We enjoy feedback from nearly all of you (nick and beefy excluded).
Tyrell Graham has 10 sacks. I was seriously considering not writing about this because I play Houston this season and he will probably decided to take out his frustrations on me and get 12 sacks against my worthless offensive line. But I decided it needed to be done for two reasons; first, I was probably gonna lose to Houston anyways; and second, how could you not write about a player getting 10 sacks in two games! I mean, this is NCAA needing to get off their asses and make this game realistic. Their should be an option after 2 sacks by one player to you know... double team him. Side bar, a devils threesome is 2 guys and a girl (no it's not gay unless balls touch). So what would 3 guys be, do they even call that anything? I digress as usual, but it is a valid point. This is a normal scenario in football and should be done in videogames. If one player is destroying you, you find ways to take him out. Personally, I would have put my RB on the right side and just hacked at his knees with big hit until he got injured, but that's just me. We need to stop arguing among ourselves and start going after EA. This league could make this game so much better if they just listened to us.
