Re: Top 50 Coaches of all time per sporting news....
Wherever he copied it from probably had a photo of Joe Pa with a caption, because it has (13) Joe Paterno before the number 11 and 12 coaches.nick wrote:joe paterno is there twice?
I'm just trying to figure out how the hell Bill Bilichek is ahead of Adolph Rupp, Joe Torre, and BILL WALSH. The man invented the West Coast offense and won 4 Super Bowls. Also not sure how Coach Krymeariver is ahead of Rupp or Walsh either.

I could win 30 games and titles there. Fuck women's basketball. Inferior product with about five good teams.BFiVL wrote:I hate UT but Pat Head is a hellva coach, she is the is the real deal and runs a great program.

I can see an argument for 2 of those, but how exactly is Joe Torre so obviously better than Belichek?jsence2 wrote:I'm just trying to figure out how the hell Bill Bilichek is ahead of Adolph Rupp, Joe Torre, and BILL WALSH. The man invented the West Coast offense and won 4 Super Bowls.

J. Ask God. I am God and I fucking say Belichick is the best.jsence2 wrote: I'm just trying to figure out how the hell Bill Bilichek is ahead of Adolph Rupp, Joe Torre, and BILL WALSH. Want proof. Go ask Mario Calvi, Lou Ciccarone, and Mike Duffy. Who are they? Three friends of mine who would levy unending amounts of hate upon me in the lunchroom cafeteria because I root for the Pats.
They ain't fucking laughing now, faggots!!!!! The three of them!
Belichick and Brady are Gods.
Bow to them.

At the risk of being a homer...one of those Joe Paterno's MUST be supposed to be bobby bowden.
no way u have him at #13...then not have Bobby on the list at all

Torre dealt with a meddling owner who tried to interfere in everything he did and won.....what, four rings? five rings?shel311 wrote:I can see an argument for 2 of those, but how exactly is Joe Torre so obviously better than Belichek?jsence2 wrote:I'm just trying to figure out how the hell Bill Bilichek is ahead of Adolph Rupp, Joe Torre, and BILL WALSH. Walsh, as stated above, changed the game and won four rings in one decade. Rupp was (for a long time) the winningest coach in college hoops history, won four national titles and an Olympic gold medal for the USA.
I don't think Bilichick is all that great, I think it's more of his coordinator's. We'll see how great he is without Scott Pioli there to stock him with talent.

No way in hell Torre is better than Lasorda as a coach.
