Here is where the problem is.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 11:55 amNope! Was going to release him and I have to pay his salary this season instead of just the buyout.qazhby wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 8:48 amyou can just release him it will do the same thing, but it should be in your emailGeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 8:24 am When do we get to decide on Team Options? I thought it was during the Arb period. Gotta let Durango go with his $15m contract
Was this skipped somehow Ryan? I never got an email in game to make a decision and the only exports I missed were the playoff exports.
Anyone else miss this?
First sim after the playoffs were finished took us to November 19th. He opted into his contract on the 6th. We may need to look at this one so it doesn't get overlooked again next season

Re: 2092 Season Thread - The Wolfe of NDLB
Random FA question ... while browsing players, I was wondering -- how has SS Rich Booth never been an all star, and why is his career ZR so low? Some of these things really baffle me.
Re: 2092 Season Thread - The Wolfe of NDLB
The contract option doesn't get exercised until FA I'm am 90% sure. I don't know what happened to it but I had an option email with no issues. It could also have been a bug for sure which why I'll fix it tomorrow like we talked about, would not put any bug past this game ever lol. Either way in the future if you aren't 100% sure just cut the guy. It's the exact same thing as declining his option.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 7:38 pmHere is where the problem is.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 11:55 amNope! 82/102/103/83 should be playing SS. Never understood why his ratings were so low as a fielder. But I'd take par/subpar SS for his superior hitting skills

Re: 2092 Season Thread - The Wolfe of NDLB
We should have two 3k hit players this season. Both should reach that mark playing for the same team, pretty rare in our league

Re: 2092 Season Thread - The Wolfe of NDLB
got bored so i made a player card for FA Raymond Blackburn. Now that I got it down to basically c/p, might make a few more.

I'm not understanding the % part of the cards. They do look pretty damn cool though

Re: 2092 Season Thread - The Wolfe of NDLB
Looks like percentile vs the rest of the league- might be wrong thoGeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 8:04 am I'm not understanding the % part of the cards. They do look pretty damn cool though

File is up. Reports and S+ to follow. Sorry about yesterday got busy and forgot about the green text post.
- Age limits on minors passed and was implemented last sim.
- A draft pick trading poll is going on right now which is pretty important. I will be closing it when I run the Rule 5 draft on Saturday. One GM has already stated they will leave if it passes (which is fine, to each their own). If you have concerns about it please post in the poll thread, would love to hear about them.
- Protect players for the R5 draft!!
News
Rich Booth signs with Detroit for 7y/$171M
Raul Pagan signs with SF for 3y/$30M

That's just dumb to leave over, especially if you don't give it a year to see how it plays out. It can always go away next season if it's bad.TheGobOne wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 9:59 am

I do think we need to cap how many 1st rounders a team can acquire though.

Re: 2092 Season Thread - The Wolfe of NDLB
Honest question, just how bad did draft pick trading go last time?
I voted yes, but leaving over it is pretty drastic
