Re: Politics and stuff
Bad thing is there will be idiots that will vote for him again if they had the chance. Dude is a total disaster. Say what you will about Trump, we didn't have this shit going on when he was in office. Even when all the pundits and politicians were saying we were going to be in WWIII if he was elected. I sure as hell miss his mean tweets

So...Biden's been fucking up a shit ton this week. 3 different times the White House have had to "clarify" remarks of his, of which some are causing some serious concerns by other world leaders and could have pretty big ramifications.
And yet, the American media is less concerned about this and flipped out more and spent more coverage on their outlets when Trump sipped his water and walked down a ramp in a weird way.
Ho Hum...

Re: Politics and stuff
You should have listened to Don Lemon last night saying this was a nothing-burger. Chris Rock found out words have consequences (still think it was staged), let's hope we don't have to find out what the consequences are for President Biden's gaffes on a world stageshel311 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 5:51 pm So...Biden's been fucking up a shit ton this week. 3 different times the White House have had to "clarify" remarks of his, of which some are causing some serious concerns by other world leaders and could have pretty big ramifications.

Re: Politics and stuff
It's the democrat establishment's last hope to not get murdered in the November election. To call it an insurrection is just plain ass stupid, it was nothing more than a bunch of idiots rioting (just like all of 2020 in a bunch of cities). Democracy was never hanging in the balance as CNN and MSNBC will lead you to believe.
Instead of having these hearings over this crap, maybe get in there and try to help the president fix the economy so the middle class and poor don't suffer any more.
We really need term limits. And we need to have age limits as well. If you are to turn "retirement" age during your term you can't run for that term. Retirement age would be determined by Social Security age. We need some young fresh ideas from both parties

So you want someone to tell you what you think?
Looking at the viewership from their primetime show you'd be hard pressed to find anyone that actually watched it.

I didn't even get into it. There are other pressing things going on that actually affect Americans that should be addressed before worrying about this. Same goes for when Republicans take the House and Senate in November, we don't need to worry about Hunter. Just fix the economy and help everyday Americans

There's a pretty significant sized portion of the left that agrees. Not really a hot take in the current climate.

Re: Politics and stuff
Why hasn't the press or politicians talked about the 25th amendment with Biden, this goes for right leaning and left leaning media. He clearly isn't all there and it's just getting worse day by day. I think both are scared of how bad Kamala will do as President.

Him reading the exact words on the teleprompters multiple times is just hilarious... and sad.

It seems like the 25th amendment should have been in play for the last 6 years.

Re: Politics and stuff
Doesn't the 25th amendment have to do with the ability to hold the office? As much of an ass that Trump was, his mental or physical acuity was never really in question.

Re: Politics and stuff
In simple terms, the 25th Amendment, proposed by Congress and ratified by the states in the aftermath of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 8:48 pm Doesn't the 25th amendment have to do with the ability to hold the office? It doesn't require professional medical diagnosis of being incapacitated.
If Pence and a majority of Congress declared Trump incapacitated (by his own stupidity or ego) they could have dumped him.
