For O/U, a draft position (Say 5.5) means 1-5 is Under and 6+ is Over
Travon Walker 1st Overall +150
Aidan Hutchinson O1.5 +180
Sauce Gardner U5.5 -125
Kyle Hamilton U11.5 -115
Kenny Pickett 1st QB +150
Spicy Bet:
Houston Drafts DB with their 1st pick +450 (Think Sauce/Kyle at 3 is a real possibility).
for context on why i think TW > AH
Speed Score, is based off your 40 time + weight, and it's a pretty good indicator of finding underrated talent (esp in fantasy and esp at hb but i digress)
**A speed score of 99.0 currently rates 51st percentile among NFL edge players. **
EDGE
1. Amare Barno, Virginia Tech – 136.2
2. Sam Williams, Mississippi – 131.9
3. Travon Walker, Georgia – 131.5
4. Boye Mafe, Minnesota – 124.0
5. Nik Bonitto, Oklahoma – 116.8
6. David Ojabo, Michigan – 116.7
7. Kayvon Thibodeaux, Oregon – 115.5
8. Jermaine Johnson II, Florida State – 115.5
9. Isaiah Thomas, Oklahoma – 109.0
10. Jeffrey Gunter, Coastal Carolina – 105.7
11. Joshua Paschal, Kentucky – 103.5
12. Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan – 103.0
13. Dominique Robinson, Miami (Ohio) – 101.9
14. Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa, Notre Dame – 100.9
15. Logan Hall, Houston – 99.8
Aidan is barely above 99.0 which is like.. average.. Travon is a junior with a 131 lol. Fucked up. But it's also Jacksonville so who knows.
For Kenny Pickett #1
Think that the Malik stuff is all hype and shit to make people interested in the draft combine. Reality is that QBs who have poor completion percentages dont translate to the pros, except 1 recent QB (we'll get to that) and WIllis has a 60% comp at Liberty. Not impressive at all. And the 1 person that did it (Josh Allen) is the comp that people keep placing on Malik but I dont see it. I see teams going Pickett (Carolina or Pittsburgh) and ya.
figures these bets go 4-1 and my actual bets bombed. Thankfully I had DB at 3 for +450 or what a catastrophe today was.
I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to betting.

Re: NFL Thread
Tom Brady hasn't even retired yet, and he's already signed a 10 year/$375 mil deal to be an NFL analyst.
Re: NFL Thread
I like Brady the QB, not sure how Brady the analyst will be. Just a hunch, but Id guess hes more Brees than Romo on that front

Re: NFL Thread
Was thinking the same.
Probably a bit better than Brees, but not as animated as Romo.
Seems too bland and where everything has to be perfect to be good as an analyst IMO.
Different sport, but Richard Jefferson is the absolute best whether it's on ESPN during the day or providing commentary for games.

I do like Jefferson. I also like Jalen Rose when he starts talking basketballshel311 wrote: ↑Tue May 10, 2022 1:12 pmWas thinking the same.

Re: NFL Thread
100% agree with both of you. Especially the technical part of it for JJ Redick

Re: NFL Thread
It would be almost impossible to not be better than Brees. He is the worst
Re: NFL Thread
Not surprised. No chance he thought he was good and probably wasn’t loving it
Re: NFL Thread
Football? Brady
Charisma? Brady
Announcing? Brady
Quiet Republican? Brady
is there anything Brees is better than Brady at? yeesh.

Re: NFL Thread
Wait, since when did nick prefer Republicans over Brees, who is very likely Democrat or leans that way?

Re: NFL Thread
Stephon Tuitt retired today
He didn’t play last year as he took a year off after his brother died.
Arguably as good as anyone on our d 2 years ago besides Watt. Huge blow for the Steelers who could have had a top d with him (and we needed to have one to keep up in this division).
I was optimistic if he came back our d was good enough to contend for a playoff spot, now I’m with the consensus that we are likely lucky to be 3rd/4th in the division and probably a good shot we come in last. Even last place in our division we will be competitive but blah

Reading this as a Lions fan makes me realize just how little optimism we've had in my lifetimeDRiccio21 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 3:32 pm I was optimistic if he came back our d was good enough to contend for a playoff spot, now I’m with the consensus that we are likely lucky to be 3rd/4th in the division and probably a good shot we come in last.
