ok ok i will be up an running later this evening fellas. they shipped the ps3 back saying there was nothing wrong with it and they were right. since my big screen went out last month i had been playing on an old tv and didnt know that i had to reset my ps3 when they shipped it back the first time,they had it set for hdmi and thats why my screen was black. it was a costly lesson but oh well
