There' still plenty of season left for us to take our normal position as the top division.

Didn’t expect the draft to get to me. My bad. I’ll be home in like 2 hours and I’ll make my pick

File is up. Reports and S+ to follow.

- No sim tomorrow. Merry Christmas you filthy animals.
- The draft timer starts today at 11AM EST and stops at 11PM EST. I will manually stop it for tomorrow as there isn't a sim on Christmas. You can still draft just the timer won't start again until 11AM on the 26th.

Careful there are multiple variants that are cause for concern according to the NDL media.

We have become gun shy on even celebrating small POTW awards at this point.

Just a tip of the cap and survive for another day round these parts!

Prosper should come to the Beast so i can stop worrying about GMs more preoccupied with their tee times.

Ya it should be at the end of this season. I have a proposal I'm gonna throw up for it. I guess I can do it now since it needs to finish before the end of the season.

Was gonna wait until after Xmas to post the official poll but we could do it like this:

1) The way we always have. 6 teams are picked to anchor the divisions (usually consistent owners with high win average) and the rest of the teams essentially draft their spots in divisions (higher wins = higher pick)

2) ONLY have teams that want to move from their division put into a pool of teams and the open spots in divisions again drafted (higher wins = higher picks)

3) My idea to try to create the highest amount of parity is this:

- 5 tiers of 6 teams are created based on their average wins over the previous 10 year span. Only 1 team from each tier is allowed in each division until that tier is exhausted. Then the next tier down of 6 teams will be subject the same rules - 1 team per division per tier. This follows until all teams have filled all divisions.

This would create ultimate parity IMO. Of course, 1 disadvantage is teams may lose their division not by their choice (I would ask teams preferred division and swap around to make people fit as best as possible, shouldn't be too hard). Another is newer GMs are punished by their previous GMs records.

Any thoughts would be appreciated for sure.

We should do 2 leagues, 15 each, with relegations if you finish bottom 2 in the top one and promotion if you win the second league.

If I had confidence this would work for all, I'd 100% be for this.

itd be pretty damn great.. but also insulting if people spent a lot of time in the 2nd divison.. although itd make things more competitive (for both).
