We are not a good team right now. Enjoy while you can.

From first to worst in AL pitching! When can my BABIP against come down out of the stratosphere?

It’s wild how many extra wins you can get from lineup construction

I understand my batting suck this bad, but that pitching... Honestly thought we'd be a tad bit more competent competitive this season..

Re: 2087 Season Thread - I fought the law and I won
So much this, I'm giving my line of change another week or two to see if they turn it around. After that I'm going back to the same exact lineup as last year

File is up. Reports and S+ to follow.
- I was made aware that players who sign a minor league deal with a major league option have 30 days to opt out and sometimes they decide to stay in your minors. Since it's only 28 days I pushed back the Minors Check to tomorrow's sim.
- Draft starts after tomorrow's sim.
- There is no sim on the 25th but there is on the 26th which is also when the draft timer will start.
News and Awards
Carlos Rodriguez (Ann Arbor) wins NL PotW
Sam Webber (New England) wins AL PotW
Luis Pimentel (Cookeville) throws CGSO vs San Francisco
Juan Burgos (Moose Jaw) K's 15 vs Baltimore
Chris Lane (Moose Jaw) throws CGSO vs Baltimore
Major Injuries
Rick Lynn (Detroit) out 11-12 months with a torn rotator cuff
Signings
None

S+ keeps seeing the game date as the 5th even though it's the 12th for sure in my game. Someone download and let me know. Also, like every year I cannot count so the draft actually starts today with the timer starting on the 24th. I will manually pause the timer for Christmas day and start it again morning of the 26th.

Re: 2087 Season Thread - I fought the law and I won
Ok it's sorted now. Apparently the game can't create the archive unless it's running as Admin...which is so dumb but the file should be correct. Apologies.
Re: 2087 Season Thread - I fought the law and I won
Apologies for the file issue. Just for future reference if you ever need to sim the game needs to be running as administrator (Windows 11). I unchecked this last night to test something and forgot to re-check it not knowing it would affect file creation.
The draft is now started! However, there is no timer for the next 2 days which means we may be stuck on one team for quite awhile. While it's fine to encourage whoever is up let's not harass people. Also, if you know you want the AI to pick for you please go in ahead of time and set yourself to Auto.
