2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
Re: 2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
Nah it's my fault for assuming. We will deal with it if he opts in. Lessons learned on my end. Should have triple checked.
Re: 2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
Also, of course George is being hot about it. He doesn't wanna have to play you in the first round. I wouldn't either. Some good ass teams in the AL this year. I just want 2 or 3 games of playoff revenue boys. Share the load!

Re: 2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
I should have a bye in the first round. Only way we meet up is in the ALCS
Plus, I could have had 2 guys on my playoff roster last year but I forgot to export with the open roster spots so they got DFA'd. I specifically made the trades for the playoffs last year. So what's good for one is good for all

Waiving 4.5 WAR guys making 25 mil. The NDLB story.
On the open market a WAR is worth about 6-7mil

Re: 2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
This has nothing to do with playoff rosters on in game or not. We had this rule regardless. The reason we turned on playoff rosters is it will enforce this rule rather than having to manual check everyones roster. Also with playoff rosters you do not have to waive/dfa guys if they are not on it. Previously guys would have to waive/dfa guys if they were not part of their 26 for playoffs if that guy had no options and you should not have to do that. Playoff rosters work great

File is up. We did NOT have any tiebreakers but we did have a come from behind winning of a division.
We are now at the Wild Card round. I am free all day today so if exports are there I can get through majority of playoffs, if not all. Please message me on Slack once you have exported and I'll post a time for the playoffs to start on slack. I will work with Billy on setting up Zoom so we can chat while the games are being streamed on Twitch.

Can we slack you our ticket prices? Doesn't give us an option to change them now that the season is over

Why use both zoom and twitch? You can't chat on twitch? You can do both on zoom

Re: 2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
I believe ticket prices are automatically doubled in the playoffs (you don't the see the number change but it does double them). I'll check though.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 11:06 am Can we slack you our ticket prices? Doesn't give us an option to change them now that the season is over

People who don't want to login to ZoomGeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 11:07 amWhy use both zoom and twitch? You can't chat on twitch? You can do both on zoom
People who want to watch on their TV
People who aren't home can still watch on Twitch and not have to hear the voice chat
Able to watch back in the future

Re: 2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
Gotta suck to be a 92 win team and then look over to the AL and see a 77 win team in the playoffs

Re: 2085 Season Thread... Sweet Home Chicago
Team loses 3 to Hollywood so we're tied but they get the tiebreaker so I get to play Miami. I am not sure how I feel about this at all lol.
Also, LA tried their damn best to get that Wildcard spot but Detroit stayed hot.
Also, worst NL Wildcard team would have won the AL East by 16 games......
