Lots of bad baseball being played in this here AL Central but we will enjoy being at the top today because it will be the last time all year. Rose City had a funny smell so we'll take the party to Houston instead
when you click on the player. Go to scouting and then at the top right you can choose between OSA or Scout.

In the upper right hand corner of the scout page are two tabs. OSA Rating / Head Scout. Click on Head Scout to see your scouts opinion.

Tomas Ruiz, the type of player fans come to watch. Because everyone loves to see a guy hit .180.

Looking at the league and my team in general. Why are our hitters who are in say 50 60 contact range so poor at hitting. I found this article and a 47 contact guy is a fringe avg guy in mlb. Idk i just found it interesting.

It makes this game completely unenjoyable. You used to be able to draft or sign a FA that had 80 contact and expect a .275 at the least. I have a guy with 80 contact hitting .221. For the foreseeable future it looks like it'll just be download file and export till 22 comes out and hopefully fixes some things

I'll say completely unenjoyable. It's hard to put a competing team out there if you expect a certain amount of HR's or batting average based off their ratings and they get nowhere near it.

What's even more frustrating is that this is pretty much the same team as last year and we had a top 3 offense. Now we are at the bottom in offense. Oh well. download/export is all the game gets from me for now.

Can't wait for NDL-H to start

This isnt a function of OOTP21, its a function of the league state. However, offense usually jumps in the first two seasons when you port to new versions while the game adjusts the modifiers back down to normal.

Offense is low atm league wide, but its not un-normal to see swings in team performance year to year.

Care to explain? I've never gotten into the weeds with how this game functions (which is evident in how bad we've been over the past 50+ seasons).

We've dropped a few points also. We're just not meeting their expectations I suppose....

an off year, i can appreciate that

5 years in a row of a guy with 75-80 contact hitting .215 is strange and annoying

Its been a interesting season so far. 2 starting pitchers getting suspended in the same week for 4 games. bring up a guy to start one game and out 8 months. injuries have been harsh to say the least. its 1-2 days or 8-9 months. no middle ground.

in regards to batting average, its low as a whole. ive just accepted it. if i see a .2 to start a batting average, im fine with it, if i see a .3 then im very happy and looking into that more then i would if a guy was hitting .167.

we can only hope 22 gets better, but if i was a betting man, they are more worried about those fuckin cards on there instead of the game. trending down.
