I've been patiently waiting to get a dude that I draft that blows up into an elite prospect, and it's finally happened...1 season after I traded him.

Thanks Pedro Ramos!

Are you telling me to trade my 23 yr old CF who just won Gold Glove and Platinum Stick in his first full year? That actually might explain a lot.....

You're funny. Are you really advocating for a guy to be MVP with a huge disadvantage in batting average, less HRs and less RBIs to be MVP?

Yes because MVP is all about offensive categories. Too bad there isn’t it’s own award for that.

And there is an award for defense, and Russel won that. But to say he should have won the MVP is laughable. Hell, Carlos Gomez out played Russell and he didn't finish in the top 5 in MVP voting

nick wrote: Fri Feb 05, 2021 2:41 pm imagine going 17-7, 2.19 ERA, 8.8 WAR (led AL), 12.6k/9 (led AL), 340!! strikeouts (leddd AL), and not winning the Cy Young?

here we go again.
first off, good info on the scouts, for those who didnt know. I also like nuetral.

2nd Garrett led the AL in Wins and ERA. Thats 2/3 of the pitching triple crown...he definitely deserved it. Just a really good year for pitchers. Your guy did finish 2nd though and just lost it by 26 points. Thats not bad. Your Lefty is a top 3 lefty in the game right now. Thats something to hang your hat on! Plus Garrett has a cpl seasons on Villanueva, and is 4 years older...so Alberto will prolly have a better career than Jim Garrett. With hall of fame potential. All good stuff my friend. No worries Im sure hell win one eventually.

He also won a Platinum Stick...at CF a premier position. I guess I'm team Nick now. This game is biased against CF! Time to write to Congress and have them overturn Vidro's MVP asap.

Do you have facts to back all this up? I'm down for the argument but you've provided nothing of substance....
